Well the guy who allowed Chris to buy his Grammy was terminated, so hopefully that kind of stuff won't be happening anymore. I still think the Grammys are a meaningful award, I mean Adele won a ton of them this year and she's quite talented. It's not necessarily all about popularity. If I was a musician, I'd totally want a Grammy. It's like an actor winning an Oscar or Academy Award. It looks good on your resume, you know?

She doesn't need that shit... I mean, Grammy awards are irrelevant, since 10 years ago... So what's the point? She's a great artist, and we are aware of what she can do with it. PERIOD.

I think Avril can definitely win a Grammy. I mean, she's working with Chad Kroeger... Her next album is surely ROCK influenced. I'm positive about a Grammy in the future. i just cant wait for 5th album.
since this is a very low time in Avril's career, people forget what she is capable of doing.
just look at how talented she is... plus she is so down to earth! unlike many other artists.

Who needs a Grammy anyway? Winning one would be an honor indeed but shouldn't be the only motivation for any artist! I mean these awards shows are a real farce nowadays bordering the ridicule!

You got to consider the music industry on a larger scale. First up, it's how so many people wore the tie when she jumped on the scene. Now then, producers understand all this and they try to make things happen with musical artists. Basically, they've tried to sell and popularize sex with this girl a few times over in her career. That's what they tried again with Smile. If you listened to some of her interviews around then, that's pretty much what she contested against. In my market sample, I found an "Enrique, Kardashian, XXX" twitter profile that wanted Smile. That's what made it so obvious to me. She got snagged in her last album's singles. Meanwhile if they properly sampled the market they could have had a hit with that Everybody Hurts track. It just had a much better appeal. At any rate, I'm wondering how this is going to happen with this coming album? But what's worse then that is how Nickleback got rocks thrown at them in Portugal.

Did you see how he pulled the finger to the crowed? She has to ditch him!! I hope she stops mentioning Chad, writes some more with Evan, and makes Chad disappear from the credits of the album. If she keeps that up with Chad, ummm....
