For those of us who can't quite come to terms with Avril's new look, feel free to share your thoughts about Avril's latest 'do', and just how fabulous that piece of hair really was.

This is all just for fun - but I think I actually will miss that bit of hair!

I like the old style too, I don't like her new style, it looks totally like she's in hard drugs. She also looks thinner on her face in my opinion

I don't get the big deal. Her new hair looks great! It may not be a certain style that everyone likes, but I don't think it's that big of a deal.

Plus, hair grows back.

Yeah, the old hairstyles are nice, but Avril probably was thinking when she did the shave. If you look at the way Avrils hair was styled with the shave, you can tell that she can cover (maybe) the bald spot by moving her hair around.. or is that me?

^ It doesn't matter "if" she can cover it because why would she? What's the point of shaving it if she's just going to cover it back up? It's true that at least hair grows back, but every time I look at it it just looks like part of her hair is missing. I'm not crazy about it but I don't hate it either- it's just... okay. Truthfully, it makes her look like she's trying really hard to be "punk rock" and if she hated people calling her punk in the old days, she's really screwed herself over now.

I wonder if maybe she's doing it possibly for a movie role? Many times the actors change their hair to show how dedicated they are to playing the part, maybe this was just a small project she was doing in France. It's also quite a popular look in Europe and from being in France for so long, she probably saw a lot of people with it, thought it looked cool, and decided to try it. Once it grows back, she may leave it, since she gets bored of things quickly. All that dyeing she does to her hair is also damaging, so at least cutting it was a way to style her hair differently without dyeing it.

As long as the 5th album is good and she has a good era, her hair is just a second-rate detail.

The pictures that I've seen show that it can easily be covered up by pushing her hair back over it. Thank god. =S

Keep in mind that she can simply throw a trucker hat on her head also..lol

^ But like I said, it doesn't matter "if" she can cover it up, it's whether she "wants" to... and I don't see why she would because that defeats the purpose of shaving her head.
