This girl doesn't sound like Avril at all. What do you guys think?

No, she doesn't. If the idea of the show is to basically have impersonators, she is nothing like Avril. She sort of has the clothes right, but the voice, performance style, and overall look (dark hair, dark skin) no. What were the judges' comments after she sang? It sounded like they told her no.

I think if she sang a song off of The Best Damn Thing, it would have been better since she's wearing clothes Avril wore during that era... and her voice was a little high for Sk8er Boi

The female judge said she had a weak vocal performance and she said "no", however, the 2 male judges said her English was really bad and she needed to rehearse a lot to reach the right notes but they told her they saw some potential in her, so they told her that she was accepted, but I'm sure after the next round they'll tell her "no". I think they're just doing this because her sister was in the final round of the last season. And her sister has a great voice. This is her sister:

The girl has potential to sing other things, but not to impersonate Avril. And I agree, her English was quite bad- "All of the friends stop at their nose?" Her accent is too heavy to sing any English songs. But her sister is quite good as Amy Winehouse, she actually looks and sounds kind of like her!

The "yo soy Avril" girls were really bad, I dunno if they are actual fans of hers but clothes (if you can say that) and singing the song doesn't make you someone. At least try to put the same energy as Avril if you go on TV. But the Amy Winehouse singers were really good.
