Also, Have anyone heard of the genre INDUSTRIAL ROCK? That genre mixed with metal, hard rock, new have and ELECTRO music?

Well we can blame people having shit view in electro music, But the proper word should be that MODERN ELECTRO MUSIC SUCKS

i only like the prodigy from the electro industry but then again they're more electro-rock than anything

Other than that, I think "moves like jagger" is a great song and I like Christina Aguilera's contribution to the song... I don't get what you have against a diva like her... Have you heard her voice? She's almost perfect live... (and please don't bring the anthem accident up...)

I have the same feeling about Linkin Park and Jay-z's collaboration which is a positive one... It was great and who cares if there was no equal balance between the rock and Hip Hop parts?... It wasn't a contest but a duet... So I guess they arranged the "mash-up" this way because it fitted better on the whole... Jay-z is a great artist and just because you despise rap and Hip Hop doesn't mean it was a disaster!

You got it wrong, I said Maroon 5 is a great band with great song, I only dislike one song from them, and its Move like Jagger, its like being an Avril fan but disliking Smile, well I praised the song such as it's funky guitar rifts, however, the synths in my opinion ruined it.

Jay Z is great rapper and no, I don't despise rap and hiphop,however, what happened in today's modern mainstream hiphop is just embarassing, but yeah back to their collaboration, I expected them to create a 50/50 balance between rock and hiphop and make an entirely new songs, most of the song actually disappoints me, the only thing that don't is Jay Z's lyrics.

I have also already bought both of these albums.
Im kind of maroon 5 fan, but I have to say that first time I listened to overexposed I didnt really like it, tbh I almost hated it their sound at this record seemed sooo weird at first. But when I listened that album again I didnt think its so weird anymore. And after I listened it a few more times I started to really like it. I guess it kinda grew on me

As for Linkin Park. Im not really a fan, I only have Meteora and that colab-album that they did with Jay-Z, but after hearing their first single off of the album I felt like buying it I still like Meteora more, but I dont think the new album is a bad album.

They are not representing what they used to be. That is okay in some sorta way,
but it's a tough decison to make. The truth is most LP fans who liked HT and M didn't
like LP anymore the moment they released What I've Done.
I LOVE elctro music, but LP do not transplat it the way I had wished they would.
They do more pop than electro and Chesters voice has got too soft over the years.
They always release one kicking ass song where Chester screams his voice outta his stochmach
but that's probably just because he needs to prove that he's still got it.

the thing is, LP didn't actually change until 2007 (i don't count the jay z collab as a change). hybrid theory and meteora were very similar, nu metal/rap metal/rap rock altho you could argue meteora was more radio friendly and not as "heavy". minutes to midnight was a decent album imo, i love what ive done, there just seems to be too much filler in the album, still a decent rock album and a change from their first 2. a thousand suns was the one were linkin park fucked up, they changed completely, i wouldnt even classify most of it as electro, its just pop and very dull. their new one isnt much better either altho it does have 1 or 2 songs which bring me back to the old linkin park, "its not enough" tho but a step back in the right direction, a very small step.

Yeah, I actually agree with all you said there. Though I think you can see that LP
started their transformation with Minutes To Midnight. It went wrose with every Album following.

what i don't understand is, why didn't they include New Divide on A Thousand Suns, its far better than anything on it, if they made more songs like New Divide (which isnt really like their old songs anyway) theyd be doing fine and id still like them but they cant even do that

I like Maroon 5, I don't rush out to buy their albums but I really like most of their songs. 'This Love' is one of my fave songs ever haha. Veryyyyyyyyyyyy keen on Linkin Park, determined to see them live asap!!
