Avril and her band

Well, everyone knows Avril is very close to her band and likes having fun and messing around with them. I was wondering if any other 'big' solo artists are like that with their musicians/band, or is it just Avril? I don't really follow anyone else as much as Avril so I don't know. Thoughts?

I actually think quite a lot of artists are really close with their bands. It's probably mostly the big diva types or people who have large dance crews, etc. that aren't that close with their band. But many artists who have a normal 4 or 5-piece band are pretty close with them and ride on the tour bus together, etc. Most of them acknowledge the hard work their band does (especially those who can't play instruments) and realize without them, there'd be no show. The backing band is just as important as the singer! I'm really glad that Avril has guys who are both really talented as well as people she feels comfortable with on stage and can have both a working relationship as well as an offstage relationship. Her current band is the best one yet, I think.
