I remember for UMS, we had official "leaks" of a few of the songs before the album released, and I had really crappy quality rips of them (this was before YouTube of course) that I played on repeat nonstop for several weeks until it finally came out!

Gosh, you know what's weird? UMS is the only album Avril released in my entire time at high school. It came out when I was a sophomore. Just thought about that now.

After the release-date setbacks of Goodbye Lullaby I'm not getting my hopes up (which is a good thing really). I think that Avril is making the album she wants to make and I think that just because they were still recording a few weeks ago doesn't mean it's gonna set the album back hugely. Especially considering the album comes 1 or 2 months after the lead single.

A 2012 release is still not out of the picture. I think if Epic were smart they would release it near the end of the year for Christmas.for all we know the album art and photography is already done. I don't think this will be another GL situation, it's probably more a Avril being a perfectionist thing.

Sure I would really love it if the album was done, but this is a pretty critical album release for Avril and I really want it to be a good album for her and I’m pretty sure that most of you want it to be a good album too.

But I thinking about this latest news and I can only imagine that while Avril was taking her personal time she has had time to reflect on the album in a more relaxed environment, and that she probably just could not stop thinking about the album and ways to make it better, which I see as good thing.

So knowing this new information and the likely scenario that she has got some new inspiration that will be added in to the mix, and the fact that she is continuing to have more writing sessions and is still working hard at on this album, I find it actually pretty inspiring. So no I really don’t mind waiting for a better album. I’m really pulling for Avril to have a great album and I think perhaps this new information is actually really good news.

Many of us forgot that, sometimes ideas just snap out in your mind out of nowhere, It probably happened to Avril, She probably more than ready for the album since its finished but BOOM! Some better ideas have entered her mind.

You guys can relate to it, whether its homework, projects or writing songs, when you thought what you did is perfect, then all of a sudden, a better idea came to your mind and you are so eager to make that ideas come true.
