She can do whatever she wants but she should be past the 15 year old phase of I don't know who I am...seriously?

Manson is freaking amazing! I cannot wait for this... I so hope we get to hear it. I love Marilyn Manson and I wish more of you would research him before making comments that are so false on him.. Typical of people to do but so annoying.

Back to topic : Even though Avril might never use Marilyn Manson's material, I still think she should inspire herself from his talent so she could improve 'cause I think (and sorry for that...) that it would not be a bad idea as she could really use some help in the writing, making or producing an album process!

I just realised a couple of days ago but her artistic process is too linear sometimes and I don't think it's only the label's fault, she should be more spontaneous and "wild" when working! For instance, I really liked the beer bottle thing during "TBDT" even though I think it was just a "lighthearted" thing for the "making the album" documentary's sake! Perhaps, it wasn't even her own idea... who knows?

When you get to my age, you will have learned that it is futile to bang one's head against a brick wall. Each and every one of us, is just a 'rat's ass hair' away from being banned for life from this website. I just happen to like it here, so I try to behave accordingly.

Actually, not being an artist myself, I am unable to offer any useful commentary on the subject of the linear properties of Avril's artistic process.

My expertise lies in world history...(primarily the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries) .

She could learn a bit from his live performances. Without the creepy makeup/outfit/some particularly weird actions the performance he puts on with moving around the stage a bit was pretty intense. From watching some of Avril's live performances (especially the Black Star tour) a lot of what I've seen has been sitting down or just standing there. I know they're different styles and everything but I'm sure it could be applied. Even in some of her heavier songs like Unwanted that I've watched live performances of, she's fairly stationary
