Judging on the comments, many Taylor fans were into Avril before she started her thing. Seems like nice fans and many of them still are into Avril or have replaced Avril with Taylor.

I really like taylor swift too.. I think (I know, people get super mad when you compare the two but.. here we go) Avril's and Taylor's voice are in a way similar. They both have a 'squeaky', higher, thinner sound to their voice so people that liked Avril's voice automatically kind of like Taylor Swifts (and vice versa I suppose). That happened to me at least. I'm not a huge follower of TS but I like her music and I've bought all of her albums thus far. Probably will buy her next one too.

I love Taylor Swift. Other than she is one of the most successful artists today, her songs are amazing and perfect to relate to. Her voice is angelic.
