Despite recent rumours that Marilyn Manson is dating pop-punk 'Sk8r Boi' singer Avril Lavigne, the star has told Entertainmentwise that he is not dating her and has said that 'he may have f**ked her' but he 'can't remember'. Ouch!

Speaking about dealing with rumours and the speculation that constantly surrounds his superstar status, Manson said:

"Yesterday I read that I was dating Avril Lavigne and I was like 'F**k I wouldn't do that, she's Canadian. No offence to Canada. I know her, I accidentally shaved her head...but, you never know where these stories come from."

The 'Tainted Love' star then added: "Sometimes they have some sort of valid truth to them. Did I f**k Avril Lavigne? Who knows...I can't remember, no. Sorry Avril!"

"Rumours, stories...I'm used to them. I got my rings removed, I was on the Wonder Years, y'know there's a different story every day. I'm amused by them, I find the creativity of them amusing. Sometimes I think they should be more creative, I'd like to read something unusual".

That would be a rather odd pair though, but how Avril would be able to go from dating the hunk that is Brody Jenner to dating Marilyn Manson would be too much for us to handle.

Oh well it's Marilyn Manson guys... I'm totally not surprised with all of those stuff he said... although I would be shocked if he confirmed the whole thing... I mean no offence to him or his fans but he's really creepy

He accidentally shaved Avril's head? According to that other interview he said she asked him to do it. Perhaps they took things he said out of context or something, they've done it with Avril and completely made up stuff she never even said. I wouldn't take this article too seriously.

Edit: Ah, okay, I just watched the video. He's poking fun at the rumors and how ridiculous they are. I think he was poking fun at himself when he said "I wouldn't do that (to Canada)", not Avril. When he said "Did I fuck Avril? I don't know" he was probably referencing a past rumor that maybe someone tried to say he was with her and he was just making fun of the rumor, because then he says, "Most likely, no." If you listen to his tone, he's not insulting Avril at all. Reading it in print makes it sound much worse than it really is. I found some of the things he said a bit amusing, like "I wish the rumors would be more creative." Haha! That's a good way to deal with negative press, I guess.
