Friends Question

Me, again, with questions. But I can't help it.

So, I wanted to ask you about... You know, on your profile, under the profile picture and info and blah blah blah there are the Friends section where's the number of friends and there are always 6 or how many ever shown. But those people change, I mean, for example you visit my profile at 1 PM and the friends you see on my profile are WorldOfAvril, HayLin, OLLY, TheCraziestFun, UMSF#1 and Bullshizzlen. You come at 5 PM and the friends on my profile page that are shown are avrilxx15, Zach, LetGoBlackStar, Miles890, Avrilfan_1988 and Shining Star.

My question is, why do these exposed friends on your page change? Is it about the last friends that visited your page, or what? Or is it just a random pick of friends everytime someone visits your profile?

Sorry if I got you confused, but I hope you'll understand at least a half of what I tried to ask.

I think its just a random selection of your friends shown whenever somebody visits your profile I dont know for certain though and i didnt know that that happens, lol
