Meeting Avril at/after/before Concerts

I was guest at this MG from Avril Lavigne Foundation.
It was great I got 2 autographs and picture and I could talk with Avril.

The easiest way is to go to a TV taping where she's going to be and wait for her by the stage doors. I've done this many times not just for Avril. But it depends where you are. If you're in London where a lot of TV shows are taped then it'll be easy (like I live in New York). You could also try to get tickets to the show because depending on the show, you could potentially meet her during the taping.

If you wait for her after a concert by her bus it might be more difficult because there will be more people waiting. But, she will also be more likely to stop as it'll be pretty much just fans -- no paparazzi and autograph collectors.

Also you should go to Bandaids meet-ups if you can!

I did all three last year. I met her at the MTV "Seven" taping and the Today Show, and backstage at The View and the MMVAs; and then I met her and Evan after the Montreal show in October. Those were all with Bandaiders.

Avril is shy but she is so, so sweet. And tiny. When she gave me a hug in Montreal I was afraid I was going to break her!

You're right though, Bandaids is pretty quick for news anyway.

I really want to meet her 'natural' off camera personality now. I'm kind of the same, I act a bit different and feel a little more uncomfortable in a large group of unfamiliar people compared to being with a few friends. Might have to do some organising for a UK bandaider's meetup too

I know she usually comes to greet her fans after she's done a promo performance. When I went to The Black Star Tour in Manchester, there were fans waiting at the stage door, I'm not sure if she came out or not, but I know she was meeting some Bandaiders inside who had already booked to see her backstage.

She didn't come out I waited till around 2am-ish and was gutted WE WILL MEET AVRIL
