No wait, i didn't say that her voice got worse, i still love her voice and i love her vocal performance on GL. I only said that it lost its uniqueness and i'm sorry for that! It's not the same issue about the old Avril, to me there's not any old or new Avril.
We will never know how GL could have sounded with her older voice, i always thought that Goodbye, Not Enough, Remember When would have sounded amazingly with that raw voice. And i'm so curious to hear a old Darlin version *_*.
@Avrilixx, yeah we know the whole RCA problem and blah blah, but do you think it's right that fans paid money to see a bored singer? Or she MUST put all her passion and love despite anything to give a beautiful, emotional, and unforgettable night? I still think her voice is unique though, it's still very recognisable as Avril, the tides have turned a bit though and I wonder whether her 'older voice' would still sound so unique if she was releasing her first album now. I'm not discrediting it, I love it but there are quite a few more artists with that lower voice style out there now. None of them quite compare in my opinion but that's just my opinion.
One of the earlier recordings of 'Why' would probably be a good one to listen to if you want to hear something like Darlin with her 'older style'. To me though it actually showed that she had that higher voice within her for all that time.

If i were Avril?? You wouldn't ever imagined how i would be and do if i were in her LUCKY place! I would put all my soul, all my heart even if i had flu or a borken leg, arm etc etc!
