^yes at 1:46 the Chorus 2 part I'm surprised at Tom's singing, you can fit Av's He Was A Boi, She Was A Girl at those lines haha. I heard that There's a Two Door Cinema Club song that sounds like Sk8er boi but I forgeot the title of that song. I'm curious t ohear that.

Similar or not, I'm digging this song. Not big on Angels and Airwaves but I could play this on repeat.
Don't really hear it, though. I wouldn't have thought about Avril at all if you hadn't mentioned this, I think if there's any similarities it's just coincidence.
