Happy and calm at the same momentsingle kind of similiar to Things I´ll Never Say or Anything But Ordinary would be great. And if there will be some deep message, it would be just perfect

If you want angry Avril, just listen to UMS because that's all you guys really want is an UMS part 2, which I doubt she will ever do.

I mean, I wouldn't mind some "rock" songs, but something a bit more grown-up and not so "angry"

I think her collaboration with Chad and Dave as well as Manson will be more "rock-oriented" than her work with The Runners, Bonnie, or any possible Evan tracks. At least if she does any angry songs I don't want them to be stupid immature 13-year-old girl's diary breakup songs like in UMS, I'd rather something with more substance to it like Unwanted. Perhaps she could write a song about feeling restricted by RCA (and it wouldn't have to be immature, like "Fuck you RCA I am the motherfucking princess I can do what the hell I want!!!!!
" She can express her feelings without directly calling them out and being immature about it, ex: "You don't want me there, you just shut me out/If you had your way you'd just shut me up and make me go away")

what fascinates me is, that no matter what is the choices, angry, happy, anything
there is always some problems
like if she is angry, people will think she is a teenager and immature.. FUCK THAT! being angry is not restricted to teens and it doesn't mean you are immature, its part of human nature.
Same thing with depressing, yeah she is rich and famous, but she is also a human being.
With Happy, I think these is the least type of vibe people want from here, i hear it in facebook, forums, youtubes and in real life, they don't want the happy Avril, or at least happy songs, they think a happy song will be bratty, even if its not.
If she do calm, people, or at least fans and people here will think its to plain and boring.
If it's other, people will think she is doing a 360* change now.
Or at least here in bandaids.
I kinda think the silent majority general public, I think they are more forgiving, as long as the music is great and mature ( except if its happy, they had enough of happy Avril with Girlfriend, WTH and Smile ) they will accept it.
i think the best option will be the vibe that most people miss from her.
in my own personal opinion, The runners, Chad, David and Manson 's work with Avril are all pop rock but something fresh and innovative.

Of course anger is part of human nature, but it depends how she chooses to express it. If she chooses to write more immature breakup songs that sound like they came from a 13-year-old's diary, then yes, it is immature (she will be 28, come on, it's time to move past that stuff). However, a song like Unwanted or Take Me Away, expresses anger from a more mature perspective- Unwanted can be interpreted as not being accepted by peers or by anyone, really. And instead of lines like "You're so full of shit" she says "You don't know me/Don't ignore me/You don't want me there, you just shut me out." And Take Me Away is about feeling confused and frustrated with life and wanting someone to just take you away from it all. The main point is that Avril is an adult now- she needs to stop writing songs from a teenager's perspective because only teens will like it and buy it. If she writes songs like Unwanted or TMA, which have much broader messages that both teens and adults can relate to, she'll be golden.Originally Posted by avrilxxx15 To view the link you have to Register
