The song is titled We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.
Her voice sounds like Avril back in Let Go days and the arrangement or the vibe simply resembles Complicated. What do you guys think?

Doesn't sound anything like Complicated, but her voice sounds like early Let Go.
Max Martin helped produce this track as well
You can read about how they made this song together in this video & article:

For me it really sounds like Complicated the first time I heard it. While listening to it more, I'm thinking it's more like Anything But Ordinary or Things I'll Never Say. The song can totally fit Let Go.Originally Posted by WakingAngel To view the link you have to Register

Sounds like early Avril.....heavy auto-tuning though....very electro-poppish too....

Really hope Avril's new album will sound like those songs.Originally Posted by caleb. To view the link you have to Register
I miss the Let Go sound by her.. That's one reason why I like Taylor so much more now.
But I have faith in Avril because she's got some pretty good producers/co-writers on this next album. She just needs to hurry uppp!

Well it sounds different to me.
avatar/signature by me"We WERE what you are, You'll BE what we ARE"

Yes hopefully that she will release songs like in LG era again..
But I highly doubt that, since I think its the matter of her voice
Her voice changed so much since then. Avril sounds more girly now
But I'm anxiously waiting for her new songs! doesn't matter if some of them doesn;t match my preference.

I'll take your word for it.![]()

What are you saying? LOL
This song has nothing in common with Complicated:from the lyrics to the sound until the voice

If you say so...![]()

.
I posted this in the other thread as well-
And surprsingly LOADS and LOADS of comparision to Avril Lavigne:
I like this song, however very Avril Lavigne, very pop, and not at all country. This song is cool but it reminds me of Avril LavigneI like Taylor Swift, and this song is pretty good...but when will she stop being labeled as "country"? This could have been an Avril Lavigne song. Just saying.I know, as soon as I heard it, I was like "Is Avril actually starting to sing better music? oh wait, nevermind"Sounds almost like a country ish version of something Avril would sing.I may be opening myself to hate by saying this but I'm getting old school Avril Lavigne vibes from this song, it's amazing!!!Love the new beat! It kinda of does sound like Avril LavigneJust me or does this kinda sound like Avril Lavigne?Get out,If Avril is shit, How about you? Slutty shit?I love this but it definitely sounds like Avril Lavigne. And this one caught my eye-Sounds like Avril Lavigne in the beginning!
Did Taylor really say that?Taylor actually said herself, her entire new album is going to be more Avril Lavigne circa early 2000's and less country. Haters gonna hate no matter what.
Anyway, I seriously don't see the whole Avril thing here. Avril never has had any song that sounds like this. It's just me.
It's not even her fans, even the media notcies the Avril comparision. Here;s what Entertainment Weekly has to say-
To view the link you have to RegisterThe track, which you can hear in the video below at the 21:00 mark, sounds like a brighter, more-polished Avril Lavigne tune, with an undeniable, instantly catchy hook. In typical Swift fashion, she’s telling off an ex-boyfriend, but there’s a rah-rah festive flair that makes the whole affair seem joyous rather than dour.
If you want something bad enough in life then get it, create it, chase it and take it. Don't be afraid. You would be surprised....- Avril Lavigne[/CENTER]
