Why are we so quick to side against Avril without knowing the whole story???

This is not only about the Chad Avril issue, but same thing can be said with her dark past with Deryck.

We are so quick to judge her even without knowing the whole story, its like she have to prove herself innocence, if not she always be guilty, with or without the evidence.

What happened that we started to act this way?

Some people said we should start being neutral. I Agree we should be neutral, but having suspicious and thinking that Avril might do wrong is not neutral because that is already making an assumption without knowing the whole truth.

With some of her fans defending her and calling them names, I think its ridiculous because this is her fansite and its normal for her fanbase to stand up for her, what we expect them to do so, remind silent? And they are not blind in my opinion, as there are still no solid evidence that Avril did do anything wrong ( in many issues not only with Chad ).

If they still deny it despite the 100% evidence, then they are blind, but in some way let them, as they are letting the cynical fans have their opinions heard!

To me pretty much all I've seen is people blaming Chad but somehow that makes Avril innocent? I think it was Waking Angel who said it takes 2 to tango and that Avril really wouldn't be so stupid as to not know that Chad had/has a GF. True, we don't know if the cheating thing really happened or not, so we shouldn't be blaming anyone, but if it is true that it happened, then Avril is certainly not in any way innocent, and neither is Chad.

I mean i can't see what Bogo means, Yes they are few but majority here are already assuming Avril did something wrong.

Now tell me, is that neutral? I don't think so, because being neutral is not taking sides, but assumings things about Avril is clearly being against her.

Example, you got involved in any scandal or fight that you have not did anything wrong, But,your parents or friends or anyone are already assuming you are the instigator.

Like what you said, the point is no one knows what is the whole story so lets stop pointing fingers to Chad, her ex or Avril if you want to be neutral.

@Bogo, no. few people here are actually siding with Avril, yes even Zach, he still remain neutral, all he did is pointing out some things that might prove theres a big misunderstanding between both parties, and that is not siding with Avril, he just tells what he sees. He is not making Avril look innocent.

I don't see why this thread is necessary? You're digging up the past and trying to stir up a thread war.

And for the record, I'm neutral as well because I believe if Avril knew anything about the affair, then she's equally guilty. Therefore, I'm not Pro-Chad or Pro-Avril. I'm not accusing her of doing anything. I never called her "stupid" either. I said that Avril would probably know if Chad was dating or not during their collaboration together, before things got serious between them. People don't date other people without knowing their marital status, including a history of who they've been with. Chad or people they work with probably mentioned Kristen's name and her relationship with Chad. Kristen knew Avril was working with Chad, so it's evident enough to assume both girls knew about each other.

Nobody knows about the truth what happened though until something is officially stated, but Chad is definitely gonna look worse in the end if he in fact cheated.

I don't blame anyone. If anyone of you has ever experienced what real love feels like
and what it does to you and what makes it so vualneable in the end you would not
question anything (in this case Avril and Chad).
Do we know anything besides what Avril told the press? Do we believe everything
blindlessly, especially what is printed in papers? I don't.
And I would never judge two people getting together, no matter due to what reasons.
This is life, people, and we all know love can be anything, but it's never fair.
Sometimes you make mistakes that are led by love. Life isn't flawless and so are you.
Are you supposed to stay with someone you've fallen out of love with?
I don't think so. Sometimes you break up with someone to get to be with someone else.

I kind of believe that she cheated on Deryck. To me the "proof" is in the songs of Sum41's Screaming Bloody Murder-record. All you others can believe in things you want to believe, but I believe in this. So.. in a way, it is easy for me to believe that IF Chad cheated on his girlfriend, Avril also knew it and didn't see any harm in that.
