Where Avril is holding her hair, one pink strand is sticking out. Just randomly sticking out. That's not possible...I really don't get this...

i never have either, apparently Deryck took the pic and she didn't have any pink highlights in it, so someone photoshopped them in and it was just a mistake

Shes just got a bit of it wrapped around her finger and it's sticking back upwards, it's perfectly possible, infact i'm doing it with my hair in the mirror right now!

Her pink hair wasn't photoshopped.. In the To view the link you have to Register cover (with Mark Liddel) , I don't think she dyed her hair at that point (can't see the pink streak(s) in the paparazzi photos from that set) but by the time she and Deryck did a little photoshoot (his photo was also the To view the link you have to Register single cover), she had already dyed it.

If you flat iron your hair well enough, believe me, it can stick up like that. Even I've been able to do it It's a small strand too so that's why it didn't fall flat around her finger.

I understand how you don't think it's possible, but if you keep attempting to do with your own hair, by wrapping your hair around your finger (holding it a little by your thumb).. you can do it

If you haven't got short hair you should be able to try this yourself. Wrap it around your finger and ka-ching!

I used to be really confused by this too. I thought that maybe she had pink extensions in, but part of the extension came out or something like that. But it definitely is possible. Since her hairs blonde, and she's got a thin strand of it it looks like its completely gone.

The first time ever I saw a very small picture of it I thought Avril had pink scissors in her hand.

My roommate cut my hair once so that the ends were pointy like that. You angle the scissors and cut downwards, which is probably how Avril got the ends of her hair to get pointy and sharp like that.
