Do you think Avril gets tired of her songs?

I don't know if this is already a threat. But I haven't really looked all that hard. But, just out of curiosity, do you think that Avril ever gets tired, or possibly even sick of, her songs? I mean, for example, take Complicated. She heard the song multiple times during the music video, and over the past 10 years she's been singing it at concerts, interviews, and whenever she practices with the band. It must get old pretty fast.

Yeah, I think that Avril sometimes gets bored of singing certain songs, but I also think that she tries to hide it. The one I noticed right away though, was when Avril was singing What The Hell at the MMVA's. She didn't really get that excited until about half way through the song, and even during the "excited" part, she was still bored.
I wouldn't blame her though, it was the only single she was really singing for Goodbye Lullaby until May.

I do even just listening. We get tired of hearing a song too many times. Just imagine the artist, just as you say. Record it, interviews, concerts etc.

Probably a little tired after hearing it yes!

I agree with what Zach said; I might be wrong, but I think somewhere along the line in an interview she even said that she gets bored with some of her songs - but she never stops performing them live, because she knows that audiences love them. And I think she's said that there are songs that never get old for her - I'm With You, and Sk8er Boi come to mind; I know she's said that she loves performing those.
Plus, one needs to keep in mind that few if any music artists actually listen to their own material - they get their inspiration from hearing other artist's works.

She must get bored at some point , but I think when it's her own crowd she goes wild and crazy (enjoys singing). I know she really hates sound checks, half the time she has to sing a song multiple times for sound check, before an actual performance, so yeah that must get pretty boring

Criticizing the almighty "Live At Budokan" concert, how dare you?











Yeah, she usually gets "bored" of her songs, usually when the 2nd year of an album cycle is ending. Since she normally write songs about her personal relationship, when she finishes one relationship and/or starts another, she get over those songs she previously wrote. It happened with UMS songs, and, sadly, it also happened with GL songs (after RCA delaying the album for almost a year). Hopefully, that won't happen again this album cycle, at least not until the end of the tour
