Do you think the B-Side "Hello" actually exists?

Do you think the original B-Side for Wish You Were Here exists? It was titled Hello, and was supposed to be on the fan edition of the WYWH single, but when it shipped, it was absent on the album. Do you think it was an actual song, or a typo, maybe meant to be "Goodbye"

I think no, it doesn't exist. They made a major fuck up. That's all I'm going to say, and I wouldn't put it passed someone to actually make a mistake like that.

I highly doubt it. If it was real, they would have released it. And then when people complained about it, they avoided answering why it wasn't on there, which probably means someone made a typo and no one ever noticed it.

Wouldn't it be funny if Avril did another fan Q&A video like she did for Brazil and one of the questions was "Do you have a song called Hello?" and she'd be like... "WTF are you guys talking about?"

But there is a song called "Hello" on Kelly Clarkson's most recent album, which was also released in 2011 (the album, not the song); keeping in mind that Av and Kelly are label mates, I believe someone somewhere said that the info for what would be on the CD release for WYWH, something got mixed up, and Hello ended up in the ads. BTW, to clairfy, I'm not saying that the song was originally intended for Av, I'm saying somewhere somebody in the Sony/RCA promo Dept. accidentally listed a Kelly song on an Av record. At least, that's what I heard. Can one of the admins confirm this? Britt?

There was supposed to be a song called Sunlight included on the deluxe edition of David Cook's This Loud Morning that was pulled at the very last minute, after it was listed on itunes and everything. It never saw the light of day, but I know it existed because he tweeted something about it not making the album back at the time. I always assumed that's what happened with Avril's Hello.

THAT BEING SAID... the Kelly Clarkson thing makes a lot of sense -- perhaps even more sense than what I've thought all along. I guess I should give up the dream of ever hearing the song, since that means it doesn't exist, haha.

-It wasn't just listed at Sony or the myplaydirect store; it was also listed in the news post on avrillavigne.com.
-It was there for over a month. Avril's team and Epic/Sony couldn't have not known about it given all the attention it received.
-I and several other people received emails confirming the track list (each of which was different; it wasn't just copied and pasted).

I don't think we'll be hearing it.

Probably... why would they advertise it as a special edition with a new track 'Hello'. Leave it for 2 months and then apologize when it's released. It wasn't a mistake, it was a planned pull-back from releasing that track. I don't know why they stopped the release but they did.

I remember I personally asked to Rodney and he said he had never heard that and that he would ask Avril. He didn't tell me anything after that by the way..
Anyway there had been a long conversation on Bandaids about that song.. and when I asked Rodney he seriously looked completely out of all this.. like "Hello song?? where did you hear about it?"
