Kesha's new album is coming out on 4th December and its mixing now?? We now Avril's was mixing a while ago but there's nothing about album around here. Seriously whats going on? I dont think album works have to last this long. What do you think about it? Is Avrils new album waiting for the "true time"?

Yes. She mentioned that they had finished the mixing process a month or so ago. They could release it right now if they wanted to, but there's so much competition right now and I'm sure Avril wants to be with Chad for Nickelback's tour. Top of 2013 would be a better release time, even if we all want it right now (and I'm sure Avril does too). But I'd rather wait and have the album debut in the Top 5 than release it right now and have it flop like GL.

What is taking their time that much if they're in the mixing process?

And everybody should afraid of Avril, not Avril.. If album is not good enough it'll flop, i dont think it depends competition so much.

LA Reid said that he would like to release the album this year but time seems to be flying and if not it will be the top of the new year... So most likely it's coming out at the begining of 2013... BUT keep in mind tha the 1st single is coming a month or so before the album so it's still possible that we get it in November or December...

This isn't 2002- Avril has essentially been gone in the public's eyes since TBDT era, she is considered to be a has-been by many people. She's not a new artist, she isn't exciting anymore unless she releases something really different that she has never done before. She can't possibly compete with pop queens like Rihanna, Taylor, Pink, and others that are releasing right now. Her ship will sink before she's even started. At the top of 2013 there is likely to be less competition and she'll have an easier time.

Im pretty sure the album is done, but Avril just doesnt want to release it this year since shes too busy with Chad

I Think the album is 100% done now and they are waiting for the right time to release it. My guess is January-February 2013.

No I'm not- I'm realistic. Thinking Avril is a threat to artists like Taylor Swift and Rihanna is just laughable.

Guys, the album is done. They just delayed it to give it even more chances to be succesful. Avril is enjoying some time with Chad, she's living her life and probably she doesn't even imagine that there are fans online 24/7 waiting for a tweet, so we just gotta be patient and when it will be the right time, we'll get news.

As much as I hate to think it, but BogoGog24 is right. Rhianna, Pink, and Taylor etc. are releasing songs like crazy, and Avril hasn't been doing much for music according the GP. Aside from GL, I really hope Avril can make a HUGE comeback with album 5 like what Evanescence's third album was for them. Evanescence came back so big it was almost like they were never gone.
