"there he goes again"Avril thought deep inside her head,watching deryck walk by."why the fuck does he always have to walk past me,and smile?"
"maybe he likes....."avril's friend,Corey began,until av shut him up.
"dont even fucking go there"
"why not av?"
"core,i dont want him to like me,i hate him"
Avril thought she hated him, but..she really didnt...
he used to make fun of her,call her names when she was younger,after they had stopped being friends...Deryck hung around with the skater duudes,and the whore chicks,while avril hugn with the goths and punks..
Everybody knows the dumb steryotype,if your not this or that,you get made fun of..well,skaters hated people who wore large amounts of black,and odd clothing,which avril wore...everyday!
Deryck looked like a typical skater,always carrying a skateboard,always saying the word"dude".

"deryck,my man"Jerome grabbed deryck by his forearm"why you keep walkin past dat avril chick like dat?"
"i dont know,i just like egging her on"he smiled
deryck kept looking at avril,as she laughed and gigled with her friends...
She suddeny feel hot,and began to sweat a little
"deryck,duude,whats wrong?jerome kept asking
"n..n..nothing jer, just..im th-th-thinking"
Deryck and jerome walked past Avril and her group of friends,that is where Avril and Deryck's eye met...Burned into eachothers memories,until they next time the spoke....
But did Avril feel like Deryck?How does Deryck even feel?

The bell for school ending finally rung...
Avril came out with her group of mostly"bois" just to see the skaters by the gates..They,Deryck was trying to show off is guitar playing skills AND skate boarding..not seperately,oh no,he did both AT THE SAME TIME! and he did it quite well..Avril was amazed.
Deryck nearly fell,when he noticed Avril was just yards away,watching him.
He wanted to talk to her so bad inaisde,he really did...He wanted to just be closer with her. it was hard,because they had to spend every friday,occasionally saturday nights together,as for both their mother's are friends and are forced to see eachother.

"damnit,tonight is Friday night"avril asked her mom into her cell phone,interuppting her watch Deryck.
"yes,it is babe"her mom replied to her
"mom...c'mon,i dont wanna go"
"you have to avril,no ands or buts"stated firmly
"but mom"
"avril ramona lavigne,did you hear me?"
"mom..."avril got annoyed
"shit,i have to go,the dog just shat on the floor"
"maa"avril didnt even get to finish,before her mother hung up on her..."looks like im going again tonight guys"she looked at them,and the ground,then back at deryck..
"sucks for you babe"core said to av,and kissed her forehead, which deryck managed to see,and he got angered by that..
he threw his skateboard on the ground...

"Deryck!"Jerome managed to let out"what the fuck is that all about"
"dont touch me"deryck angrily shouted,drawing avril's attention for Corey...
"hey,hey deryck chill"Dave maanged to let out
"what the fuck got you so angry?"Cone asked him
"Avril!"Dave mumbled"that kid just kissed her,im guessing that is what set deryck off,because it was perfect timing"
"you saw that to"?deryck looked up at dave
"yeeeah,im facing that way arent i?"
"so,der......"
Deryck began walking away..he picked up his skateboard, hooked it to his backpack,grabbed his guitar,and started walking home by himself.
Avril,watching helplessly as he walks away,feeling so bad and guilty over what had happened.
"hey guys,im gonna just chillax by myself,k?"she let her pals know
"why av?"matt asked her"thought we was gonna chill out together?"
"that was the plan,but....im just feeling in the 'alone'mood today"she looked at the ground
"alright babe,feel better",core said,kissed her again,avril,feeling pain in that kiss
"ill call you later"matter yelled over as she waled away
"alright,later duuudes"
Avril managed to catch up with deryck...you would think the pace he was walking,he'd already have been home,but there she found him,sitting in the park in a tree.... playing his guitar singing of some sort of melody...
"the words i've managed to say,wasn't what she wanted to hear...and if i could go back,and take that 1 day,erase it from my life..maybe id have her, maybe she'd be mine....theres nothing left in time, she hates me,i love her, im in love with her and ill never get to call her mine"is what he sang....
"aaaa"he began,meaning to say avril,but stopped short,noticing avril was there...how much did she hear,he wondered to himself...oh my god,please...she cant know..god please no..
"why were you singing that,if you were so angry before"avril maanged to say,breaking the silence...
"ummm,.i..uhhh"he looked at his guitar,trying to avoid avril's eyes...
"deryck..we used to be close,just"
"we didint know what close was back then,we were so little"he raised his voice
"you knew jsut as well how fucking close we were"avril angrilly said"you meant a lot to me,the way i meant to you"
"you dont know what you meant to me"
"sooo"avril walked closer to the tree"tell me then"crossing her arms
"no,i-i,i cant'
"why not...?"she asked"you hated me that fucking much and you lied all that time?"she sounded disappointed,with an angry frown upon her face
"NO!!!!!!"he screamed"i didnt fucking hate you,i lo-lo"he cut himself off,thinkign how the fuck he basically admitted something deep to her"fucking forget it im out of her"he jumped out of the tree
"no your not"she grabbed his hand,gently,like she used to when she comforted him"what were you going to tell me?"she asked him,gently sort of like a whispered tone
"avril"he looked deep into her eyes"i wanted to tell you for so long, i never meant to treat you the way i did... i was growing up,you were too.we both changed"his eyes wondered off to his hand locked into hers..he felt her fingers tightneing with his,and somehow he didn't stop himself from moving closer to her
"we did change,but...why does that mean we have to fight,we have to hate eachother?"she also began to lean in closer
"AVRIL!"he forwarded himself backward,still holding her hand tightly"im in love with you"

"wh-why a-are you in love with me?"she asked,biting her bottom lip
he moved her hair from her face"because i love what you are, i love the way you try, i love how you stand up for what you believe,and after all these years and all the pain your still here"he wanted to kiss her soo badly..but he resisted..he didnt want to come on too strong for her..
"i-i dont know what to say"she looked down
"the girl i was singing about before...it was you"he lifted her chin up"listen,avril just tell me if this is too much to handle, i dont want to drive you further away"
"deryck.."she gripped both of his hands"did you ever stop to think i felt the same way about you?"she looked at him with more seriousness
"what do you mean?"
" i mean..maybe i have feelings for you too"
he really wanted to kiss her at this point, he still resisted it,but he hurt so bad...to wanna kiss her so bad,it felt like his heart was breaking because of his resistance..
avril slowly moved his hand from her neck,going striaght down her chest,very slowly,to make deryck got hot and wanted her right then and there,all the way down to her waist.
"avril...."
"shhhh"she put her finger of his lips and hugged him
"i love you"he whispered in her ear...
once the tightening from their hug loosened a bit, he looked at her, and she wanted to say i love you too,but she was scared....so instead, she kissed him....
