Liverpool vs Olympiakos was a cracker of a game too. Liverpool required 3 goals in one half to advance from the group stages to the knockouts. Two subs scored (S Pongol and Mellor) and with 4 minutes left, Steven Gerrard scored off a volley from 25 metres

He should leave Liverpool. Since 2007 Liverpool hasn't won a cup. If you see the statistics his scores has decrease.
I remeber 2 years ago Real Madrid tried to buy him. But he refused, then Real bought Alonso.
It would have been a great opportunity.

Liverpool just won the league cup a couple of months ago.

Gerrard has stayed at his club regardless of their league and cup performances. Such players are rare in this day and age. You should respect his decision to stay at the club rather then desert them in hard times.

Don't get me wrong..I really admire him. That's why he's one of my fav players. It's just that I'm disappointed for Liverpool results.

There's very little he can do now. He is injured most of the season.
