i've been checking out the airplay avril's been getting on CHUM FM here in Toronto, and it looks good. they've definitely embraced KHO, but they're not overplaying it. It's good shit!

I don't know a lot about how the Billboard system works, but i know some. I think that with this amount of airplay already that the song could make an appearence on this weeks Pop 100, but I doubt the Hot 100 yet. I think that after the offical impact it will, of course, pick up more airplay and with enough will move up the Pop chart and maybe even the Hot 100. Although, it won't be until the song becomes availible for digital download that it really gets anywhere on the Hot 100. I think (or hope) the song will do wonderful in the digital download areana and will give the song more power on the charts. I think, with some certainty, that the song will at least be a Top 40 hit, and I hope that it can break the top 20, but who knows. There are some optomists that think that the song will go #1 or even top ten, but I think it won't do better than the top 20; I hope they prove me wrong though. I think, also, that it will do well on Adult Contemperary Charts. I love the song and am a huge Avril fan and I can't wait for the new album!!!!!!!!! I'm interested to see how people react and accept this song.
The release date is this coming tuesday so I'm expecting more stations to add it. Remember, this is only her first unofficial week and the song had already jumped to No. 66.
