would like info on the site

you know how people have to sign up to enter the bandaids site? how do you do that? can anyone do it? 'cause i wanted to do it for my site.

do you have to have a really expensive server like you guys or can you do it w/ free stuff like angelfire, geocities... etc?

also.. do you get to approve people who join or...?

or is there anyway you can lock it and just give certain people the password??

any info would be appreciated. thanks guys.

we use a php3 member site and SQL database setup

if your good at php3 and SQL databasing you probably could do it

you dont have to have a really expensive host like we do, but you cant run member programs on free hosts because of the terms of use

we can set it so the administrator can approve who joins, but we dont have it set for that

you can also set it so that there is one universal password that everyone uses, but in that case you might just want to make an open site
