We've decided to have a member of the week like many people have mentioned before, and I was just wondering if you guys have any ideas on how we should run it.
I was also thinking we could have like threads for promoting bandaids, The best damn thing, Girlfriend and her other singles. If you were to post a link somewhere to bandaids then you could just post the link in the thread and you would get credit for doing so and it will all be considered when member of the week is being chosen. If you referred a member to bandaids they can post in the thread for that and it will all count towards who we pick.
I'll start it on a Sunday, and if you win or whatever you'll get a personalized sig saying that you are member of the week (Ex: Smappy - Member of the week January 21 - 28) thanks to Ju (Twisted Revolution). If you get it more than once then you'll sig will show all the times you have been it. I was also thinking that your title would be changed from say Super Duper Poster to Member of the week, and once the week is over it would go back to before. Also, You're name will be announced on the mainpage.
Ewa (Emmi) also had an idea of making a thread of all the members of the week so you'll get entered into the thread so members can look back at it! Kathleen (Cheapthrills) also mentioned that at the end of the year we take all the former member of the week names and draw them for a prize.
We can have referrals as well. If someone's doing something really great for bandaids and you feel they deserve to be member of the week you can PM me or Corrine with the following:

What actions does this user display that helps Bandaids?
You can also apply for it yourself using the following:

You'll only have to fill it out once, and we'll continue to look back on it. This is so everything is not based on our opinion and in case we may have missed anything.
Doing all of this can help out many things such as promotion, members for bandaids, getting noobs to post more & making bandaids money.
My dawg - Corrine (Vintage Disposition) is gonna help me with it. We're gonna be looking for the member who has been being really nice, helpful and you don't have to be an old member to become one. Noobs can be member of the week too.

EDIT: I thought i should just add in that you don't have to be nominated to become member of the week, nominations is more of a thing to bring attention to a member i guess. It's a good reference if you know what i mean. Also - MOTW won't be chosen by the amount of nominations a member has, If a members already been nominated and you don't have anything to add to what he/she has done for bandaids, you don't have to nominate him/her again.
