Charles, Evan, Devin and Mike working on MTV's new show "Kaya"

Devin Bronson, Charles Moniz and Evan Taubenfeld are involved in a MTV project.

Charles Moniz updated his MySpace account on July 19, 2007 and he reveals, that he had been working on the project for MTV called "Kaya". The show is about a girl and her band "making it" in the music industry. The girl and her band gets signed and moves to Hollywood where the drama and craziness unfolds.

Charles tells that he has been working on the soundtrack. "I personally really dug the Pilot Episode and i think it's going to be a great show. The music includes original songs from Evan Taubenfeld and other writers, i think you guys will all really dig it." Avril's former bass player writes, that it has been absolutely amazing working on this record with them. He adds "I'm sure we'll be doing some more studio work in the future." Furthermore Charles tells, that he is not in the "Blacklist Club" but he is looking forward to work with them on other various non-B.L.C projects. Before this project, Charles Moniz worked on a record with some friends in a band called "To The Lions", which is a hardcore band based out of the Toronto area. When Devin was in Locarno Switzerland on July 15, he told the readers of his blog that he recorded the guitars for the MTV show. Before heading back to Asia for festival gigs with Avril he is going back to Los Angeles to work on the new BLC record.

In addition, Evan Taubenfeld talked on the MTV drama in the latest official BLC To view the link you have to Register. He is the executive music director for "Kaya". About the show he says "It’s really well written and I’d actually watch it(which says a lot) !! I produced the record so its kinda like an unofficial BLC record (Devin, Isaac, Mike and I played everything & I wrote or co-wrote most of it). I think the record came out amazing and I hope that they release it soon!! I’ll keep you posted! Oh shit, I’m in episode 8 btw, that’ll be cool. I’m playing some asshole named Evan."
