Lord of the flies. Ughhh... Just... Ughhh.![]()

I just finished reading "Under The Dome" by Stephen King.
This is honestly one of the best SK books I've ever read. It goes down with Carrie, IT, The Shining, Misery, The Dead Zone, Bag Of Bones, The Green Mile, Cell, Salem's Lot, and other classic SK works. "Under The Dome" reminds me a lot of "IT", especially since it's around the same length and it has the same depth to the characters and pulls you in in much of the same way.
I won't reveal what happened at the end, but throughout the whole book, you just keep on rooting for the characters. You want them to escape the Dome, and the final shocking ending is really mindboggling. I honestly don't know where King comes up with his material, he has one hell of an imagination.![]()

^ STEPHEN KIIINNGGG!!!! <3 sorry, im a mainer...

And the plot description reminds me of the Simpsons movie.
I just finished reading "A Long Long Way" by Sebastian Barry for school. Jeez that is a heartbreaking book.

i finished reading under the dome a few weeks ago and i thought it was awesome....but "it" is the last sk book i would compare it too... under the dome reminded me more of the stand
and i didnt find anything "shocking" or "mindboggling" about the ending.... i love stephen king, he's great at telling stories, but he's (usually) terrible at ending them

Lord of flies... again. For school this time.
Ughhh.
And Noughts & Crosses. Didn't like it.

Don't bother, it's read so fast and the story isn't that great. Just another existentialist book.
