No, you're not being slammed for asking for your autograph - you're being slammed for the unreasonable threat of a lawsuit, for threatening to "go to Nettwerk with your complaints", and for making false accusations. Two very different things.

Of course I've sent out the autographs - what kind of accusation is that? Do you think I just stockpile shit to look at every time I get bored? Avril signed 10 autographs for Bandaids in London in April and I now have 0 of those - do you think they just magically disappeared??? Not to mention the fact that I have heard back from some winners saying they did receive their autographs.

As for ignoring your PMs, unless I've missed one of your PMs, I'm fairly confident that I've responded to every one of your attempts to contact me. Though we did have a problem with account cloning in the database that did contribute to some PM loss over the summer.

Either way, this is all a non-issue. In my first response to you I told you that I would get Nettwerk to send you an autograph directly as I no longer have any of the autographs Avril signed for the contest in London. I don't know what your agenda is beyond receiving an autograph, but whatever it is, don't expect to be able to push me around with your continued threats. Any financial gains your attempting to seek will not materialize.

Trust me, if I wanted to make money I wouldn't keep Bandaids online. I spend around $1000 of my own money on Bandaids every year. Bandaids is a financial liability - I certainly don't make any money on it.

T-shirt sales are just a way of raising money to counterbalance the costs of the site, not a get-rich-quick scheme. And if you knew how little we made off of t-shirt sales, you wouldn't even raise money as an issue.

i think if the problem could be solved as amicably as possible, we would all appreciate it. no need for lawsuits! they just cost even more money!

It's not an unreasonable threat when someone takes my work, promises something in return for it, uses my work, and still has not sent what was promised almost 5 months later and ignores my messages asking where the prize is. I can assure you I sent you a couple messages and you did not respond, so go back and check.

And you know what, I'm not sure what you did with those autographs and I'll never know, but I can tell you what I do know... I know you heard back from only 2 members that they got their prize, and that at least 5 other members have not received theirs! There are some people who won this contest who haven't replied whether or not they got their prize yet so there could be more members added to the "not received promised autograph" list..

We will see how the rest of this unfolds...

By the way, you said you had 10 autographs, but there were 11 winners of the contest... so was one member just going to do without an autograph?

Well since she said she's going to be getting the autographs from the Nettwerk (since apparently a goblin or something took hers), I figured I'd e-mail them and let them know they shouldn't be dealing with unreliable people to be distributing their autographs.

Well since Sharifa is running the most popular Avril site on the net and probably one of the biggest keys in Avril's advertising, I dont think they will give a rats ass how she distributes them.

In the end of the day people get busy, and forget things. Everyone is human.

Also, is an autograph worth the finance of a lawsuit !

How can one forget about something for almost 5 months when they are frequently reminded via PM "where's my autograph" ??

It's not about the autograph if it went to court - it's teaching her a lesson that's the principal. What she's done is theft... until we ALL have our autographs/prizes, it's theft!
