I decided to merge all the Nation Threads under one banner. It was over 5,000 so, under this sections rules was closed. My mistake in missing some of the other Nation Threads.

As people are obviously so attached to the said threads I do apologise.

Nah, guys, we would not do stuff like close language threads just because we can't understand it. That is so unfair and ridiculous. Please, don't get that feeling from us. At least not while me and Alicia are around.

I personally think it's pretty amazing that all of these language threads are popping up And, yes, the Germany thread is a legend and won't be closed for no other reason than because of bandwidth and the spamming rules (which unfortunately are in effect again ).

Okay to the first part of your statement but could you explain the last part a bit more. What do you mean with the spamming rules? What has this do with our thread? Are you going to close the thread again because of spamming rules? I am confused now.

A more detailed explanation would be appropriate.

I'm sorry. I still can't let this go.
The Nation Threads were once moved into the spam section without any plausible explanation. I mean, there are so many threads in the Off Topic Section that are very similar to the Nation Threads but those don't have a 5,000 posts limit. Why not just make a new section for the language threads as there are so many of them? It would be much easier to find them etc. But okay, that was a long time ago, so what's done is done.
However, what bothers me most is that now, all the posts have been moved somewhere where we can't see them anymore. It had to happen to the Germany Thread eventually, I get that. But what about the others that only had like 10 posts or so? It happened to them without warning!!
Btw I'd really like to know: Why did you decide to merge the Nation Threads? What were you thinking? Honestly. Next time switch on your brain before doing Mod stuff. It affects people around here you know.

I don't know why, but I actually don't think it is much of a big deal. I mean, sure, I was pissed too when I found out about it, but as far as I get this right, everything's okay now.
Alicia made a mistake, I get that, but she corrected it and she even apologized.

We could consider opening a new section for different languages, I agree on that Tina, but I think this is a much bigger deal and not up to Alicia, but to the whole community.
