Yes, they got closed, merged into a "United Nations Thread" and then they disappeared.Originally Posted by little_foxy_lady To view the link you have to Register
Why? Ask the mod who did this.

Yeah. That "why?" is the explanation we want, because what we heard til now doesn't really satifiy us.Originally Posted by little_foxy_lady To view the link you have to Register
Til now we don't know a real reason.
Interesting.Originally Posted by TroubleMaker To view the link you have to Register
Thanks for letting us know!

Oh they probably did that because there were too many language threads...Originally Posted by Ronin To view the link you have to Register
How can there be too many language threads? Do you know how many languages there are on earth?Originally Posted by little_foxy_lady To view the link you have to Register

Guess what. We are just as confused. We pretty much know what happened. And we think we pretty much know why or how it happened. We just want to hear that from the responsible person herself.Originally Posted by little_foxy_lady To view the link you have to Register
So? It was not just our thread that was removed.Originally Posted by 3.1415926 To view the link you have to Register

Thanks for the explanation.
Well, imho that "UN Thread" would haver never worked. Non-native English speaking people want threads for talking in their language, and at least for our German thread I can say that we wouldn't take the load of work to post our posts in German and with a English translation. Plus that a lot of the stuff we talked in the German thread would be nearly impossible to translate, or would be about a topic which is uninteresting for other countries.
And if somebody has a problem about that he isn't able to read our thread, well, not our fault...They aren't forced to read it. Like we aren't forced to read such Threads "Spam Volume 19".
I mean, we already were always friendly with people posting in our thread in English. We welcomed them, offered them to post in English if they want and the people were free to ask about which topic we talk.
Except one person who I remember everybody who posted in our Thread was welcomed friendly. And that one person was just told that she hasn't to post 3 posts in a row.
So well, no offense, the apology is of course accepted (and thanks by the way), at least from me, but I just had to put clear that we aren't interested in such a "United Nations" Thread.
