Jim blushed and hastily wiped it off.

'Not so fast Avril! I need to talk to you.'
Oh, great. My first day of high school is being ruined by mr. dork from dorkalot. Here we go...
'You know, its really awesome to be sharing a locker with you, Avril.' Jim said, trying to be romantic but failing.
'Uhm.. thanks.. bye now.'
Jim had a crush on Avril but Av never seemed to notice and she would just think hes practising his dumb pick up lines on her.
The day passed, just with classes and boring teachers, but it wasn't as bad as she expected.
'Hey, Abbey.'
'Hey mom.' Said Avril, entering the house.
'How was school..' Her mother asked
'It wasn't that bad, actually. There was just this guy that really couldn't get away from me!'
'Let me guess.. Jimmy McGorman from pre school? Don't tell me he's in Napanee high! No way! I have to call his mother!'
'MOM.'
'Wha?'
'Just promise... PLEASE promise.. you won't invite him over... just his mom.. NOT him..'
'OK, Avril. But I really don't see why your so fussed about him. Hes a good kid, you know. You just have to get to know him better.'
