Three’s A Crowd

I was sitting by the window watching the rain fall, Deryck was on a small promotional tour for his latest album “Underclass Hero” so it was just me.
I looked at my watch a Rolex watch that Deryck had got me for my birthday ,it was 11.00 o clock maybe I could ring Evan see what’s he’s doing I thought so I picked up the receiver and started to dial his number.
Ring, Ring,
“Hello” said a rough voice at the end of the telephone.
“Hi Evan, Its Avril oh dear I didn’t just wake you up did I?”
“Oh hi Avril …yeah but its ok I had a rough night last night.” Said Evan yawning.
“Oh sorry,……. I’m bored in the house” said Avril.
“Oh where‘s Deryck?”
“Out on a promotional tour for his album, he’s going to be back in a few days.” said Avril happily. Its was really starting to get to her being in here with out him.
“Oh ok then, how about we go to lunch, say at 12 o clock?” said Evan looking at his bedside clock.
“Yeah it’s a date, see you at 12 then. Bye. Said Avril.
“Ok bye”
Right I better go decide what to wear. She ran up stairs and flung top after top from her wardrobe until settling on a pair of black jeans and a Abbey dawn tank top (Just in case the paparazzi were out) with converse trainers.
She got her keys and went to get in her car.
At 11.40 she turned up outside the restraunt and noticed Evan’s black car in the car park.
She got out and as she opened the door there was the paparazzi out in full force.
She smiled at them,
“Hey Avril how’s you doing?” said one of the paparazzi.
Avril decided to just ignore them, she walked in and Joe the restaurant owner was waiting for her.
“Hello Avril and welcome once again to The Koi restaurant, your friend Evan is sitting over at the far end where you wont be disturbed, hope you have a nice time Avril”
Avril just smiled she wasn’t feeling to talkative today.
“Hey Evan”
Evan was sitting wearing sunglasses with a pair of white stoned washed jeans and a white top with a guitar on it.
“Hey Avril”
He smiled and stood up and kissed her on the cheek.
“So you sounded pretty rough on the phone had a good night last night did we?” said Avril.
“Yeah I met this girl she was amazing, we had the most amazing sex ever” said Evan with a big grin on his face.
“But we drank a bit too much wine and ive got the biggest hangover ever” he added.
Avril laughed.
“So you didn’t talk to her, then get to know her, you just both got drunk and had sex?
“Well, she left her number somewhere and she did say her name…..I think”.

Avril shaked her head… “Evan why don’t you settle down, like me and Deryck?” she said happily.
“I havent found the right girl…. yet” Evan said slowly.
Avril felt it was a bit of a sore subject but she didn’t know why, she quickly changed the subject.
“Anyways how the the album going?”
“Its going great me and the lads are in the studio still recording, maybe if The Black List Club is a success maybe someone very cute could do guest vocals on a song or two?”
“What Deryck” said Avril jokingly.
“No you silly ……even though Deryck could come too if you wanted and maybe sing too?”
“I will think about it…”
“Let’s talk about you instead of me….why are you bored?”
“Well, you know how it is husbands out of town, my mates are all working and busy”
“ You need someone to keep you company all alone at home on your own” Evan’s eyes twinkled mysteryly.
Avril laughed
“Yeah ok then maybe after we have finished here we could go back yours?”
“Yeah ok then” Evan Smiled.

Back at Evan’s house Avril and Evan where watching a movie and drinking beer and limoncello.
Avril laughed, “Why are horror movies always the same if you hear a noise you run for it or call the police not stand there till you attacker comes and kill’s you”
“I know but it’s the rule of horror movies, want another beer?”
“What, you trying to get me drunk Mr Tubenfeld?
“No Mrs Whibley” Evan laughed and went to get himself and Avril one anyway.
When Evan came back in the room the credits were going up on the movie and Avril had fallen asleep on his settee ,she looked like an angel Evan thought.
He decided to carry her upstairs, he took her upstairs to the spare bedroom and laid her in bed, suddenly she stirred, opened her eyes and pulled Evan towards her and gave him a kiss on the lips.
Well Evan thought its wrong to receive something then not give something back isn’t ?
The next morning Avril woke up, turned over and was expecting to see Deryck lying next to her but it was Evan fast asleep and the whole night came flooding back…what had she done!
She decided to slip out maybe Evan would be to drunk to remember what happened last night. She got up and but her clothes on and slipped out of the house unoticed. She got in the car and drove back home and tried to forget about the whole night.
Maybe Evan wont remember and wont say anything to Deryck it will all be water underneath the bridge, no one needs to know.
Suddleny a blue car came out of know where and just nearly missed her by inches.
Avril screamed and put on the brakes, her Jeep came to an abrupt halt. She got out of the car.
The blue car that had nearly hit her had stopped too and didn’t look to have any damage on it, the owner came over to her.
“Im really sorry miss I….”
He just stood there in shock, yes I know im a famous person and all but for god sake shut your mouth and stop staring at me Avril felt like saying instead she said “Its ok im fine and…”
“Oh my god Avril Lavigne.. don’t you remember me?” he interrupted
“erm…no should I” said Avril.
“I’m Josh remember from high school I stuck up for you when the bullies picked on you”
“Oh my god, yes I do” said Avril remembering.
“My wife Jenny and I have just moved here from Nappanee. Congrats on your wedding to Deryck by the way”
“Oh, thank you anyway id better be going” said Avril as what she had done came flooding back.
“Ok then maybe we could meet up sometime you and Deryck and me and Jenny for lunch or tea?”
“Yeah that would be great”
“Here’s my number” he said handing her a piece of paper with it on.
After she got in her car she was going to drive home but couldn’t face being home alone again so she turned around for the airport, at least at her mum’s she could think straight.
She walked in her mum’s house it was all quiet her mum was busy reading the newspaper.
“Oh Avril, why didn’t you tell me?”
“Tell you what mum?”
Oh no Evan hasn’t gone to the press has he with what they did last night already Avril thought.
“About the accident…the car crash”
“Oh yeah, he missed me mum I’m fine” Avril said.

She went up stairs to her old bedroom and sat on her bed. She noticed that her hello kitty phone had disappeared maybe Michelle had borrowed it. She sat there thinking of what had happened between her and Evan.
She found her self so tired after all the alcohol and the events of the day she feel fast asleep.

Deryck walked though the door to find the house empty.
He figured she had gone to her mum’s, he decided when she turned up her would surprise her.
He got in his car and drove to the mall where he picked up her favourite food veggie pizza, red roses and yellow lillies.
He got back to the house cooked her pizza and used the red roses and yellow lillies and took some of the petals off some off them and put them up the stairs and all over the bed he lighted some red candles he found in the cupboard. It looked perfect and so romantic.

Avril walked in the door of her house and noticed that Deryck keys was on the hook where all the keys were kept.
“DERYCK'S HOME” Avril exclaimed.
She noticed the petals all up the stairs and followed them with a big grin on her face.
Waiting for her in the bedroom was Deryck naked with romantic candles around the bed and rose petals over the bed.
She ran and jumped on Deryck and gave him a big kiss.
“I love you Deryck”
“I love you too my mother fucking princess” said Deryck.
Avril got dressed the next morning and fumbled though her pockets for her keys and came across a piece of paper.
It said “Josh ‘s Number 012345678911.”
Avril decided to give him a call.
“Hello” said a quiet voice at the end of the phone
“Hi its Avril”
“Oh hiya Avril how are you?”
“I’m good thanks how’s you?”
“Good what are you and Deryck doing today? Would you like to go for some lunch together?”
“Yeah that would be great, I will meet you at the koi restaurant at 12.00” Said Avril smiling
“Yeah ok me and Jenny will see you then?”
“Bye” said Avril
“Bye”.

At 12.00 o clock Avril and Deryck found themselves sitting at a table with Josh and Jenny.
Jenny had Blonde hair and a red dress on she looked really uncomfortable with the situation and didn’t talk much, actually I don’t think she said anything apart from hello.
Josh just kept talking about how his new business was going.
“I’m a photographer, me and my mate are on about opening our own studio out here in L.A ” He said.
