In Belgium some people pronounce her name the english way other people pronounce it the french way,
as we have a flemish speaking part in belgium and a french speaking part i think most of the people will say her name the french way

No. It's just that our language here is tagalog. Where the T.V host just pronounced it in tagalog way. This is how to say it in tagalog, LA-VIG-NI, not Lavigne in english way. Yeah so weird..
If only I could teach you a filipino language you would understand further of what I mean.
