Here's yet another fan fic of mine, only this time its a little different then what I usually write. This POV is Avril's and I've never done that before......
“The guys and I are going to go for a walk. Want to join us?”
I had been off in my own world, and as soon as he spoke I was jolted back to the real world.
“I, um, no Ev, I don’t think so. Not tonight anyway.”
“Come on Avie, you’ve been locked up on that damn bus as long as we have. You’ve got to be dying to get outside.”
“How many times do I have to tell you? Don’t call me Avie, call me Av or Abbey.”
“Fine, whatever, are you sure you don’t want to come?”
“I’m sure Evan!” I said getting impatient.
“Whoa, don’t go for the jugular Tiger!”
He left along with the other guys, and I relaxed more. I’d been upset most of the evening.
My concert tonight had been amazing. Everyone was happy and screaming. But what was really getting to me was the guy. I knew him of course, how could you not know who Deryck Whibley was? He was staring at me the whole night, and not in the normal way like everyone else.
I had to admit, I really liked him, but I wasn’t going to tell him, or anyone else for that matter. Well maybe I’d tell one person.
I walked over to my phone, and dialed the number I called so often. It rang three times and then she answered.
“Hello,” she said groggily.
“Michelle, how are you?”
“Av, it’s two in the morning here, how do you think?”
“Aw shit, I didn’t realize it was so late. I had a lot on my mind. I’ll let you go back to bed and I’ll just call you tomorrow.” I felt my heart drop. I really needed to talk to my sister.
“Ah, how about not, I’m already up. Spill the gossip sis, what’s up?”
“Well, I had a concert today, like any other night, and well, there was this guy,” I had to stop babbling.
“Weird guy, creepy guy, pervert guy,” she asked me.
“Deryck Whibley,” I told her.
“The Deryck Whibley?!?! Spill! Av for cripes sake, you’ve loved him for forever!”
I smiled. I loved my sister. Sure she was younger than I was, but we still shared everything. “Well he watched me the whole time, and not like the other people. He really, really watched me.”
“Oh, my gosh! So did you see him after the show?”
“No,” I sighed.
“Why not,” she asked.
“I looked for him, but he just disappeared.”
“Aw, that stinks, I’m sorry honey.”
“Don’t be, I’ll live, though I did sorta blow the guys off. We usually all go out for a walk when we’re in a hotel, but I kinda yelled at Evan,” I explained.
“Aw, poor kid, he’s got a huge crush on you Av.”
“No he doesn’t, he sees me as a little sister. They all do.”
“You don’t see it, you must be blind.”
The front door opened, and Evan yelled for me. He sounded urgent, and I didn’t like the fact their walk had been so short. Something was wrong, it had to be. “Shelly, I have to go.”
I didn’t even wait for her to say goodbye, I just hung up.
“Avril! Please get in here!”
