Thanks to the Dutchies seeing off Norway, Scotland have pretty much secured 2nd spot. Our only real "competition" is Macedonia, but the day we fear diddies from European backwaters will be a sad one. Hopefully we can draw a weaker team such as Ireland (if they make it) or Slovenia.

Sweden f**king sucks, the team cant just score... They should let younger player play instead of old dudes, hope Swedish coach Lagerbäck gets fired. Even if Sweden now won over Malta with 4-0 there is no chance they get to World Cup.

Us Danes are too good for ya haha But, normally Sweden is epic so I don't know what happened to ya'll.

Sweden used to be good, but they relied too much on Larsson imo - of course he is a world class player, but now he has retired you guys don't know what to do imo.

and Mike, the FIFA world rankings are done over a period of time, its a points system, which you get or drop points, It has no bearing on what a team is like at that current time, it takes a world cup or 2, for a team to change dramatically in their position.

I really hope we draw Scotland in the qualifier now if both teams get them. Not saying we will beat Scotland, but we definitely won't get hammered in the way you think it would be so easy to beat us.
The difference is, if we lose the match, me and lewis have no embarrasment to fear, as we haven't out right stated that we would beat Scotland, however, you have continuously made a mockery of our nation and our football team, so if we draw you in the qualifier, and if we beat you, get ready to be made a mockery of.

England are all but qualified. We can look forward to getting knocked out in the Quarter-Finals on penalties again next summer

Scotland will be there, I have no doubt about that. But the only thing that comes close to the awesome feeling people get when Scotland win, is an England loss, so I can look forward to both of them in 2010.
