Band not in video?
Why do you think they didn't have the whole band in the Don't Tell Me video? I mean weren't they a part of the song too?

To the record lable the band doesn't really matter. Think about I'm with you. Actually it seems that the videos with new members in it tends to have as little of the band as possible.

exactly, and the only part he could've played in the vid would be av's b/f...and then it would start a whole bunch of rumors and speculation about them

exactly. I like them all but they should be happy that they got this gig. They not the best musicians so im sure that Arista fought with Avril lot of times about getting profecional musicians like Allanis and the rest do. Jesse should be thankfull to Av cause now he's got his name out and all the guitar indorsemens. Also more people will recodnise his punk band now because of Avril.
About the video. The band has nothing to do with this video's atmosphere. Its about personal girly things. I think its smart that Avril didnt include them in the video. I think if "He wasn't " was her single then band whould be very appropriate for the video because of that punky feel.

How.? They didn't write or recorded any of the songs. The pics on Let Go book of the band playing with Avril in the studio just to introduce the guys so people can see their faces. Every song was recorded by session musicions.
AVRIL DID ALL THE FREAKIN WORK. I love her for that. Little girl from nowhere pushed her self so much to achive her dreams. She shoul'd be a role model for everyone who have dreams to be famous.
p.s. Donald Trump, Avril Lavigne and Satan are my role models. lol

i think the band is very important, but maybe not so much in videos. although "losing grip" is one of my fav videos.

Don't tell me is a pretty slow song so it would of just looked weird if they were just hitting a few chords every so often. Kinda like when they perform it live they don't move around alot because its not that type of song.
p.s I think the boys are cool and I don't want them to leave, but why are they so important?

Aside from Evan the band members are a bit faceless. They don't record on the album they just show up and play. They kinda are replacable, as hard as it is to here that.
At the same time she gets along with them, there's an actual friendship it's not just, " I"m the boss, good morning, go do your fucking job."
