Date: 12th of March, 2003, Place: The Zenith Hall. I came there at about 2 hours before the show, it was allready full. We waited, and then OLP did a great pre-show, but frankly, nobody listened to them.
And then, the lights went out. The drums started, the crowd was wild, and then.. i saw a little girl running throu a passage that was on my left. i couldnt believe, i started screaming, thers avril, theres avril, i was crying during the whole thing and then.... BOOM!!!! Avril jumped on the stage, lights flashed, her red star was behind her, sk8er boi.... Sorry to say, but i thought she was gonna sound awful. But, it was completely different. She sounded cool and well rested.
Anyway, after Sk8er Boi, it was Nobodys fool. I took some pictures of her- but thats not important now. Nobodys fool was ok, so was Mobile and ABO, and the crowd knew all the lyrics, i bought some t-shirts, posters, keychains.... i spent 250 euro (thats about 300 bucks) on all, tickets not included. Anyway, On naked, she was lieing on the floor, singing, Too much to ask was cool, to slow for my mood, and then she said: Allright, for this next song were gonna need two people from the audience. i was in the first row, but she said they have to be cute, so i steped back. she took some morons from God-only-knows-where, they sucked, they didnt know the words.... Then she said: this song is not on my first album, its a B-side, its called I Dont Give a damn. It was very cool, she kept saying i dont give a shit, not damn.... heheh.... On I'm With You the crowd was the loudest, she couldnt be heard. Then she played Unwanted and she left the stage. The crowd was: AVRIL; WE LOVE YOU ; COME BACK NOWWW!!!!! and she came back with a chair. she sat and started: And i wanna believe you, when you say that its gonna be ok, yeah i try to believe you, but i dont... TOmorow.
Then she walked away and we were screaming for about 15 minutes, and people were leaving, the lights went completely out, we thought it was over. then(we didnt see her coming) we just heard: Yeah,dadada yeadada.... these things ill never say.... People were running back, light show .... It was the top.... then she lefgt throu the same little passage, and i climbed up some wall, evan smiled at me, AND I GOT TO HOLD AVRILS HAND!!!!! she was there, at the end of the passage, turned to the audience, and screamed: ROCK ON!!!!! That was it.... the best thing that ever happend to me.... I saw avril....
