Her concert in Portland Oregon was the coolest! It was on the 27th of April. My friend and I had a blast. Waited in line forever it seemed like. Prob. 3 and a half hours. Once we got in though it was still awhile till Gob came onstage but that's to expect. Duh, it's a concert. LoL! We got to be right up in front too!!! My dad was nice enough to get up early on a Saturday to go to Freddy's and stand in line until 9 to get the best spot possible. There wasn't much of a line since I live on the coast though. LoL! Anyways back to the story. I didn't really know Gob too well Id heard the song Give Up The Grudge. They're cool. Theo's pretty funny. LoL! Then Simple Plan played. They rock!!! I love them as much as I love my dog. No lie! LoL! I know all there songs by heart. Omg Pierre is so hot. They rocked and my friend got one of the picks they through out into the crowd. It was funny though it came flying straight for us. I figured me or her would get it so I reached out to grab it and missed. But then I turn around just in time to see it bounce off my little brother's head. LoL! (He's 11, He came to see Simple Plan. And Avril too but he won't admit it). Then I look down to find it and all of a sudden my friend dives for my brother's feet! She stood up, smiled at me, then held up her pick(which is green by the way. LoL),and was like "Yay, I'm So Happy"!!! I almost caught a drumstick but this girl beside me was pretty determined to win the fight with some boy so I kept to myself. LoL! I loved there show and was gonna go get them sign something of mine but I didn't want to lose my spot up front so I stayed. It was getting hot by then, and I was seriously thirsty! Still didn't want to take that chance of losing my spot so I stayed. A bit later the lights went off and there was a spot light that said "Try To Shut Me Up" on it. I knew I would be seeing Avril any second! I was so excited. Then the music went on and the curtain went down and there was Avril!!! Right there on stage. Just feet away! The concert was great! I had the BEST time. She started with "Sk8er Boi" which really got the crowd going and I can't remember what the order the rest went in. When she did "Complicated" she had to people come on stage with her. 1 Girl and 1 Boy (Boi LoL!). The boy had the coolest hair do! and the girl was very obviously shocked and super nervous. Don't get me wrong, I'd be nervous too! Then they let them sing into the mic. and I can't remember which one messed up but they did and it was funny, Avril laughed, but I don't blame her. She was onstage with Avril and got to sing part of her song with her. She also did a cover for "Basket-Case" which was super cool. She left then came back on with Evan and did "Knocking on Heaven's Door", "Tomorrow" and "Thing's I'll Never Say". Sometime during her performance Theo from Gob came up as a "fan" with an "I Love Avril" shirt on. It was pretty funny! They did a great job!! Avril is great and funny! While walking off-stage with Evan she did the "butt-kick" to him and hit him with her foot. LoL! Great Times! I got to sing to her songs while she was singing them live and finally it's not just to the radio. I can't wait for her to go on tour again. I'm definitely going to see her again. I know she's not going to read this and it's a waist of my time, but... AVRIL, You're the best! Keep making music. You've got great style even if everyone and their dog dresses like you. Your still original and don't let anyone say otherwise!!!

hey staticrebelle could you do me a great favour? you see i live in singapore and avril doesnt come for tours here T.T avril if you ever do read this please consider!!! anyway, as i was saying i plan to go over to USA during years end, and i would love if you could provide me with dates of avril's concerts and appearances like mall tours and stuff from nov- end december? would greatly appreciate it if you do. thanks a lot! that said, Avril rocks! keep rocking Avril? what more is there to say? you're perfect =)
