Brussels - October 1st, 2004 by Zippo - Bonez Tour

Concert: Brussels
Reviewer: Zippo
Date: October 1st 2004

Hi folks,

Now that I've taken some rest after launching the thread, I'm gonna tell how I found the show. It was the second time I had the pleasure to see Avril performing. Last time was on March 6th 2003, at l'Ancienne Belgique.

I was sitting on the left side, with my beloved.
Unfortunatly, some guy (40-50 years old I'd say) came with two beers and started smoking weed. He was alone and... drunk. As the smoke smell was unbearable, we decided to move up to another couple of seats.

Avril was great and her voice has greatly improved since last time. She's doing very well. Glad to know that nobody will criticize her voice anymore

But there was someting missing if I compare both shows. Some kind of magic maybe...
First of all, the audience was sleeping. I mean, the people sitting stayed motionless. Maybe because most of them were parents with kids, I dunno...
Maybe because the size of Ancienne Belgique (2000 vs 8000) made the show way more intimate.
Maybe because we were too far away from the front row!

Well, I appreciated the show anyway. Too bad most of the photos I took are crap. My camera isn't big enough to take good pictures from that range lol
