So I made the drive to Cleveland, Ohio to see my favorite girl in concert. It was a long ride (over 16 hours both ways) but it was well worth it. We got in line ass early in the morning and it was freezing cold (naturally!) Anyway my friend Scott called the radio and won passes to Avril's acoustic show but since we weren't in line yet we didn't get to go and Scott took 3 people who were already there. Jerk. (jk) Anyway when we got there and got in line, Avril's bodyguard (the white guy with the goatee thing) came up and was like, "Oh you guys are first in line? Here have some Avril guitar picks" and gave us each one which was totally awesome then he told us to enjoy the show. While we were waiting, the drummer and bass player from American Hi-Fi came outside to have a catch on the grass so I wandered over and told them they rocked in Philly. Then, Matt and Devin took a walk around the arena and walked right past us, so that was cool. Around 3, we knew Avril would be getting out of her bus to go to the acoustic show so some of us walked over to the buses which were down a driveway but visible and we all stood on a bridge over the buses. Anyway, her bodyguard (the african amercian fellow that hates us) came out and was all staring at us, so I waved at him. Next thing I know, the nice white guy was coming out and telling us we couldn't stand there, which was crap. So we walked away then went back haha and saw Avril get out of her bus. We wouldn't have called any attention to ourselves except for this girl sitting there with a camera sticking her head through the metal poles trying to get pictures. Wouldn't you know, the police rolled up lol. The guy was like, "We were called because you guys can't be standing here." And that girl's mom was like, "This is public property we can stand here blah blah blah" but Trish and I just walked away bc we had already seen Avril get out of the bus. Anyway, we saw someone from the Event Staff and asked him about it and he's like, "oh that's ridiculous, you can stand wherever you want." So we finally got in and they were so unorganized. The wristbands weren't ready and when they did get them on, the floor doors weren't ready to be open so another line started forming. They didn't do any type of security check or anything or metals detectors, etc. which I thought would've made Av's people a little nervous, I just thought it was kinda careless on CSU's part after the scary people I saw in the front GA at Philly lol. Anyway, once they got their shit together everything ran smoothly and I got front row center again So Butch came out around 7:30 and rocked the place out. It was a smaller venue so the crowd got pretty loud and into it. He started out with My Way and played Mixtape, Don't Move, Get Down, etc and pumped everyone up. I personally think he was a great opening act for the tour. So we had our intermission then around 8:45, the silhouette appeared and He Wasn't started rockin out. Every time that curtain drops I get chills. Needless to say she was great, as usual. She really got into Freak Out and was all waving her arms, she did a great version of Who Knows. She spent a lot more time talking to the audience than I remember her doing in Philly and told us her little stories about the significance of some of the songs. She was especially good on piano for Together and Forgotten and really got into them. When she played Mobile, the old Avril in a hoodie logos appeared which were cool (just like in Philly) and at a few points in the show she smiled at me, which is always nice. She was wearing a black tank top that said, "Mary Poppins is a Junkie" lol. Here's the set list:

After the show, we waited outside because I knew she'd come out to sign. I made friends with the police officers (who told me where she'd be )and this girl Tiffany from Ohio who is totally awesome. We saw Charlie walking to the bus and Tiffany yelled for him, so he came over and was SO nice. He just hung out with us and took pictures and signed my set list. He was telling us about the Philly show and how he hurt his neck recently and all this other stuff. We told him we'd see him in Jersey and Good Morning America so he said he'd look for us, but wow what a nice guy. After that there were about 50 people left and the nice white bodyguard guy set up barriers for us to line up at for Av to come sign at. They told us no hugs, kisses, or pictures with her because "it's flu season" lol and no flashes in her face. Anyway, she came out in the bitter cold, after only a half hour, and went down the line and did a quick signing with Matt Lavigne (who is apparently part of security and who we saw making out with his girlfriend by the bus in the afternoon) following behind to take anything people gave her (Michelle was there but didnt come out). She didn't really talk much at all and kept her head down while she signed, but it was nice of her to come out. Then she got on the bus and headed to Cincinatti.
