so last night i went to Birmingham NIA, i got there around 5.45 because i got seated tickets so i didnt need to get there early. my firends were already queing and they were like 10 from the front so we just joind them. the doors opened about 6.15/6.30 we went in and found or seats which were on Devins side with a really good view.
At 7.30pm Simple Plan came on stage, from where i was sitting i could see back stage so I could see them coming up the steps to the stage. They played for 45mins and were awsome they sang live soo well and they were really interactive with the audience. There was then a 30mins break while they set the stage up for Avril. During the break me and my friend heard some one say that simple plan were signing, at the enterance to our block they were doing a small signing, so I got the autographs and got pictures with them and i also got Pats autograph and a picture with him, hes the guy who runs the simple plan website and was in the Addicted video.
At about 8.45 the lights went out and it was Avrils set, she started playing behind the curtain and as the drums of he wasnt started the curtain dropped. It was awsome it seriouly was the best concert ive ever been to. She sang really well and was running around the stage, Craig sang backing really well and Devin did a little bit but not much and he was really good. Charlie was also running around the stage and head banging. Devin is so funny, he was doing little tricks with his guitar picks. he threw one up and Craig caught it in his mouth, also devin threw one up and hit it into the crowd with his guitar. He did the solos so well, he was head banding and dancing around, he reay is better then Evan, he plays better and is so much better to watch. well thats my opinoin. She sang well the whole way threw and hit all the right notes.
i need to load my pictures up onto my computer but i will post them as soon as i have them. The pictures of the concert arent very good but i have some really good ones of me with the guys from Simple Plan. o yeh and i almost forgot I GOT MATTS DRUMSTICK!!!!!
It was funny because these lads went to one of the backstage doors and said they were part of the lighting crew and they got let in and managed to meet Avril
