k, the story
Anyone whos been on this thread in the last few days will know how determind i was to meet Avril - Haily, Ailie and Berty will back me up on that. So after the show we stuck around till the end, when we lost haily . Anyway we went outside and floated about untill 11 when we walked around the perimeter lookin for the bus. I turn a corner, and the guard goes 'Go Away, right now' i just thought thats it. So we sneaked round the back of this road to the other entrance and stood and stood. Theres a door about 10m onfront of us where we could tell by the mass of security she was going to come out to get on the bus. All the time people were comming and going out this door. Then a guy in a black hooded top walks out and along. I sorta squint at him, thinkin its Devin, but have serious doubts as there were 25 'harcore' avril fans who didnt take a look at him. So i have my doubts, but follow this guy down the street. I cant actually get in to it cause of security, but convinced myself it was him. So i sprinted by the guard and over to him, with guards chasing. Devin see's this and tells the guard to back off, and i turn to the guards and laugh at them, lol, dont think they appreaciated it. Then i wave over my 3 friends. So we stood talking for around 8 minutes. After seeing him through that whole show, i think hes a good bit better than Evan, mainly down to his stage presence. So i said ' must be hard, but your far better than Evan' and he just put on this ear to ear smile. So he took pics and signed stuff just as Craig troddles along, again un-noticed by anyone else. Same again, a quick chat and then they both shook our hands and said to wait by this door, she'll come out in 30minutes. So we did, and 30minutes later, Avril walks out and theres only about 10 of us there. She walks over smiling away, and signs everyones stuff, talks and so on before getting on the bus. Avril, and the band, are honestly the nicest people i have EVER met, most walk direct on the bus turning their back on the fans, but the fact she took the time with each person there just made me love her as a person even more. What a night
