Friday was one of the best days of my life, thanks to Avril and Libby. Security let us into the actual concert part at about 6:30 and Butch started at like 7:45, I think I heard someone say that time. Anyway, he was alright, all the little kids seemed to like him a lot, I liked his Ashlee Simpson joke. Then Avril came out. She sounded awesome, I’ve never heard her voice that…strong. Her hand motions are pretty funny too, I don’t remember her ever like acting out all the words to songs before, it’s nice. I think Together sounded the best, just Avril by herself on the piano. That was so pretty. Nobody’s Home sounded awesome too. She sounded great the entire time, but those are the times I remember her voice being so haha idk POWERFUL. When she did Song 2 she got so into it, she couldn’t stop smiling. Plus Matt was right in front of me, so I took a few pics of him, he has such sexy arms.

Then after the show I had a meet and greet. Everyone else went in as groups of 4 or 5, but John let me go by myself so I could get a few things signed for Bandaids. She’s sooo tiny, and she was in such a good mood. I was walking in and John kinda of introduced me “Avril, this is Ashley from Bandaids” and Avril’s like heeeey and she put her arms up and we hugged. She’s a very nice hugger lol. I said the show was awesome and the best I’ve ever heard her sound before, she said thanks. I gave her a CD and asked if she’d sign stuff. She was like “Matt, get me a Sharpie ok thanks” and I laughed. She just kinda smiled and signed the pictures. When she was signing I asked if Deryck got a heart tattoo with an A, she started smiling as soon as I said Deryck and was like yeaaaaah, I said “awww cute.” Then the lady I gave my camera to took a picture of us, I felt like a fricken giant next to Avril, then she had to catch a plane. So I don’t think she went out to sign or talk to the fans by the buses. I’ll post the pics in the media section as soon as I get home. Oh and I bought the paper today and they had a nice picture and a decent review, so I’ll scan and post that too. Anyway, it was a very awesome experience for me.

Oh and, before the show I met stormie who is really cool, but she kind of passed out during Together. Your sister and I kind of lifted you over the barricade, but I never saw you after the show. I asked the security guy and he said you had a seizure, so I really really hope you’re okay. PM me as soon as you can. :| I also met Andy who flew to Milwaukee from the UK, but he got arrested for no reason and kicked out of the Bradley Center before the show even started…assholes. So yeah Andy (I don’t have your email or anything), I tried going to your hotel and calling up to your room, but I guess you’re not out or you just weren’t in your room, email me dude…what the fuck happened?

Oh man…well the Avril part of the concert was AWESOME.

hi, there was some group that opened for avril that night, what bands was that, was butch walker the only opening performer?

I know this forum is super old, but I really hope you get this and email me back..
