Concert: Denver

I just got back from Denver about an hour ago and I thought I'd share my Av experience with you guys.
I got to the concert an hour and a half early so I had to wait outside for about a half hour before they opened the doors. Then I went straight to the souveneir booth. I got a glowstick, a poster, some buttons, some stickers and a t-shirt.
Butch Walker started out the night and he was f-ing awesome. He was funny in between songs and his performance was excellent. He made fun of Ashlee Simpson's lip synching without calling her by name of course. My favorite song of his would have to be "Mixtape", but they were all awesome.
Then there was about a 25 minute intermission and then the lights dimmed and Avril's shadow was shown behind a huge banner with a fist that said Avril Lavigne. She started off with "He Wasn't" and the banner dropped after about 30 seconds. That was a start to an awesome hour and 20 minute performance.
I'll just stick with what I thought the highlights of the night were for me. The first highlight was Avril playing piano for "Together" and "Forgotten", she was awesome. Oh yeah, I forgot about attire. She was wearing black cargo pants and a tshirt with a semi on it and she had black fingernail polish on. Now back to the hightlights. When she played Nobodyz Fool, she started out solo just her playing the guitar and singing, then for the last half of the song the guys jumped in and made the rest of the song rock. I loved it!
It was Matt's 24th and Butch's 21st Birthday so we got to sing happy birthday to them right before Butch sang "Blur" while Avril rocked out on the drums. Butch was definitely wasted by then. It was
hilarious. He had a cup of alcohol and kept spitting it straight up into the air. Av was having so much fun on the drums she had a smile the entire time Butch was singing.
She was great with the crowd. She was always smiling and she would wave to people all the time. She was very friendly. She also talked a lot more in between songs this time than last tour(which I
only know from multiple viewings of her My World DVD)
My favorite song that she performed was "Don't Tell Me" because she was so into it, and plus that song just kicks ass. The only thing about the concert that upset me a little was she only played 17
songs. The three that she didn't play that were on the playlist(I think, tell me if I'm wrong) were "How Does it Feel", "Fall to Pieces" and "Slipped Away". And I love those three songs so it was a little upsetting.
But overall, it was the best damn concert I've ever been to and defintely the highlight of my year so far.
