I went to the Avril concert on November 19 in San Jose and it was seriously the best day of my life. I didn't think it could be so good. I had general admission and I got there maybe around 1:30 with 2 of my friends. haha when we got there we could see this little group of people sitting outside the gate and i think we all got a good scream out of knowing we would most likely be up front. The wait was pretty boring but worth it. actually VERY worth it. It wasn't that bad either, we took turns going off and the cool part- me and my friend met BUTCH WALKER when we were walking in the back looking out for tour busses! yeah we got pictures with him and talked briefly but then he had to run. anyways, we were all majorly excited when the doors opened. But just before the doors opened all these people decide to cut! It's like hello, can you not see that there's people here who have been waiting all day, and to go in front of them half an hour before the doors open is completely RIDICULOUS! I wanted to just run when I got in but the security people were being losers and saying, "power walk!" at us. The best concert I have ever been too for sure. Last time Av was in San Jose I was in general admission like 3rd row, and she didn't have as great of a performance. This one blew that one out of the water. It was perfect! I loved the candle/piano thing and avril on the drums! That was TOO COOL! I can tell that Avril is definately maturing as an artist. Ok, moving on to the best part of the day, or the best part of the 14 years I have lived on this planet, getting Avril's autograph! After it was over we ran up to merchandise and got t-shirts and posters and then went around to the gate that we met Butch at. There was an ok amount of people there. It was freezing though and I could not feel my arms or legs but we were all standing there talking really loud and being hyper trying to get warm. I was definately over excited. I could not control myself. I never knew how I would act if I ever got to meet anyone famous, especially Avril, who I love more than anything. Avril definately rocks my world! Apparently I was just a little bit too excited. jumping, screaming, laughing at anything and everything. people must have thought i was nuts for sure. When I was up there waiting for avril to get to me at the gate it was the slowest 2 minutes of my life. Finally she got to me and I'm just like at a loss for words. So i blurt out thank you! about 20 times in a row and she looked up, smiled at me and kind of giggled, and was like no, thank you! That seriously made my life. I looked at the autograph and it was all big and amazing. The poster that I got signed is currently being framed! unfortunately avril ripped it a tiny bit when she was giving it to me through the gate but you know, that makes it 100 times more special to me. I wanted to hug everyone after I got that autograph! I've been on a post-concert high ever since.

Front row, meeting Avril, meeting Butch... how does it get any better? I have been the happiest girl ever since that night. Haha, if only I would have said something better than, "THANK YOU!" a million times to her. I had it all planned out in my head, the words just didn't come out. Kind of intimidated by the security dudes though. I thought if I said, "I love you Avril!" they might make me leave or something.

Now I am just hoping and praying that I'll be able to go to Jingle Ball on December 4th in Sacramento! Is anyone going to that? AV IS GOING TO BE THERE! I'm pretty excited and my mom doesn't seem like she's going to let me but I'm really hoping for this!
