hey guys i thought i would write here since i managed to wangle my way backstage last night at wembley!

Shauna (avrils manager) had put me on the guest list for the afterparty as i had been talking to her about possibly meeting matt brann at the show. however when my friend and i got there, we were told to go inside before it began and we actually ended up standing outside av's dressing room. a woman went to go get matt, and i talked to him for a while and got a picture with him before he had to go to the cd:uk interview. he invited us back to the sound check later on, and we watched them all perform Song 2 by blur with david desrosiers from simple plan for an hour. my friend then called avril over and we introduced ourselves; she was nice enough to take pictures with us too. matt gave us signed drumsticks and one of the management staff picked up two plectrums that the guys had thrown out during the show.

we had to wait outside to be let in for the actual concert and our seats were block 36, which was where simple plan said they would be signing afterwards! so we went outside and i managed to get all their signatures, and i got a hug from seb and i talked to jeff a little too. we couldnt take pictures of them though because we didnt have time.

avril completely rocked and apart from playing one bad note on slipped away, she sounded amazing both on piano and guitar. i would like to thank everyone that helped us because we had such a great time!
