Wembley - October 10th, 2004 by bigfanofavril - Bonez Tour

Concert: Wembley
Reviewer: bigfanofavril
Date: October 10th 2004

Saw Avril last night at Wembley.

The show was great and avrils voice was amazing but somehow it dont seem the same without Jesse and Evan.

Craig and Devin are fine but they dont hold the presence of Ev and Jess did on the last tour and Devlin seems a bit childish on stage and not as professional as Evan was.

My favourite part of the show was her accoustic set (Tomorrow, fall to pieces and the first part of Nobody's Home). But I still left the show thinking something was missing, she only done 1 hour 15 minutes which was a bit dissapointing, why not extend the set for another 15 mins and have the classics like Nobodys fool and my world, 2 great live tracks.

Also noticed Craig is using a proper acoustic guitar for the acoustic parts of the songs where Jesse used to use a Gibson SG. I also heard a rumour that Jesse did not continue with the band as he was not a good enough guitarist, any truth in this.

Anyway, good to see Avril finally making it big here in the UK and les hope she does a live DVD of her tour.
