Well where do i start? I live in a small town 4 hrs from kelowna. So the morning of Nov. 25th i woke up at like 7am and was excited and i blared MY HAPPY ENDING to wake up my family....we still had to travel! so after like an HOUR of me nagging my parents they finally got up. but then they had to pack, and take the pet's to the pet store so they'd look after them. See, unlike ME who packed the night before so our targeted time for leaving my hometown was 9am...we didn't leave till 11:30 but thats typical for my family. so the next few hours is about travelling with my red neck family ill skip that.
So we got to kelowna around 3 o'clock was was cool. and i called my friend cuz she was going too and we were gonna meet at the concert. her and her sister and their cousin had to take the bus out tho. so we went to the hotel and unloaded, then ate supper. and by now it was 4:30. i was panicing cuz i thought it'd be crowded out there. but then my friend phones me and tell's me she's in line. we were on a cell and i was like "is there lotsa ppl" and i couldn't hear her and i thought she said "there's a ton!" but luckily she said, "there's only 10" but i didn't know that at the time and i was freaking out. so i made my parents take a doggy bag for the rest of the food and i ran out th door. so my dad drove me and mum to the concert and we stopped and got a disposable camera along the way cuz i wasn't sure if we could take them or not.
FINALLY we got to Prospera Place. BOI i hate Kelowna ppl (no offense to whoever lives in kelowna) but they all think they're so good and cool, when really they're a bunch of yuppies. don't worry u'll hear me rant a bit more later. ANYWAYS we finally got to the stadium and i saw my friends and me and my mom stood in line with them. (my mom came with me, yes. my best friend was SUPOSTA come but he chickened out cuz some kids at school were making fun of him for it. but thats another story) so we stood in line til like 6:45. and there was ALOT of those yuppie kelowna ppl there who were screaming and freaking out cuz some ppl got to go in before us. like HOLY COW i never knew someone could have such a short temper. It was mostly the moms, who brought their 4 yr old kids who won't even remember the damn thing!
So we got into the stadium and the area where they sell shirts and stuff was there. my mom went and was buying out the whole place while i was freaking out cuz they started leading ppl into the arena and i lost my friends. But eventually my mom finished shopping and we went in and found my friends. it was SO empty there! cuz we were so early. and so we got like three or four back from the front. We waited for about an hour just talking and stuff.
Then the lights go out and Butch Walker came out! He was so awesome. I never herd any of his music before that. My mom bought me the CD before the concert at the little shirt area and im glad she did. it was SO awesome. He played about 8-9 songs i think and he was crazy. In a cool way but i think he was on drugs. anyways. After he left was when the place filled up even more. THIS was those stupid kelowna parents who brought their 4yr old kids to the concert part! OK we were near the front where there were a buncha teenagers right? When i feel this pushing on my leg. These little kids out of nowhere suddenly came in trying to make their way to the front. But they gave up and just sat down. I told them to move and the parents started freaking out. The poor kids were tramatized, seeing their screaming overreactive parents, all these teenagers surrounding them, and the lights going out. The only reason why they were there was because the Kelowna Parents wanna brag to their yuppie friends at the Yacht club and say "ya i took timmy to avril lavigne and he loved it" but the truth is, Timmy was horrified and he's gonna die at a young age due to stress related problems. poor kid. (YES I know, i REALLY dislike kelowna ppl) anyways. Then avril came on! She started off with He wasn't and it was awesome. I dont remember every song she played but she played most of the songs from UNDER MY SKIN and a few from LET GO.
Avril's so aweosme. She had a good singing voice, played Guitar, Piano, and the drums. It was seriosuly the best concert i've been to. And i got some really good pics ill post on here sometime wheneer i get around to it. The only complaint i have is: PARENTS DONT BRING UR FOUR YEAR OLD! u know what i saw halfway thru the concert? One kid just fell asleep on his mom's shoulder! he either fell asleep or passed out...not sure. but either way DONT BRING THEM!! it's bad for their health. i wish there was an age thing. only 14 and older should be alowed in. Cuz there was also those annoying 12-13 yr old girls who think they're so cool and "punk" cuz they listen to avril. This one chick was freaking out behind me cuz i wouldn't let her past me and she was sucha a B**** but finally she left. So ya. the concert was great, if any of u didn't go to an avril concert yet you GOTTA GO. it's the best experience any avril fan could have. especially seeing her so close. SHES SO SMALL! and hot too. lol. she finally closed with a piano version of Slipped away. just her and the piano it was beutiful. oh ya! and when she was doing Tomorrow she did it acoustic right? and it was quiet in the audience and i was so close to her so i screamed MARRY ME AVRIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol it was funny. after that ppl started cheering and stuff. i dunno if she herd me but it'd be cool if she did. (and said yes :P) anyways tjats my story and im stickin' to it.
