Atlanta - October 28th, 2004 by Lost My Grip - Bonez Tour

Concert: Atlanta
Reviewer: Lost My Grip
Date: October 28th 2004

Being this is the second Avril concert I've been to, I have to say that this one was WAY better than the last.
Before she came out, there was a curtain in front of her and as she began to play "He Wasn't" on the guitar, you could see her shadow which made everybody go crazy. When the curtain dropped, there she was in all of her beauty. She lightened her hair, now a platinum blonde with black streaks. She had a tan tank top on with black pants and Converses. The first four or five songs she sang were from the second album, then she sang "Sk8er Boi" and dedicated "Anything But Ordinary" to the fans. After a couple more songs she played "Together" and "Forgoten" on a piano with candles, which looked awesome. Then she sang "Naked and "Tomorrow", before playing the drums on a song with Butch. After that she closed with "Slipped Away" on the piano.
Overall the best concert I've ever been to. Throughout the show she and Butch made cracks about the Ashlee Simpson incident, definitely brewing a tift between the two female singers. Besides that Avril's singing was amazing as always and I hope to see her again.
